Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU
Tigers' Isaac Paredes: Added to lineup
Paredes was added to the lineup for Monday's game against the Rangers.
Paredes was initially slated to get a day off Monday, but he'll join the starting nine after Jake Rogers (arm) was a late scratch. He'll play third base and bat eighth.

Toro isn't in the lineup Monday against Cleveland.

Tigers' Isaac Paredes: Not in Monday's lineup
Paredes isn't starting Monday's game against the Rangers.

Ramon Urias 3B | STL
Orioles' Ramon Urias: Plates two in win
Urias went 2-for-5 with two RBI in Sunday's 5-0 win over the Royals.
Urias kicked off the scoring with a two-run single to right field in the third inning. The 27-year-old has taken over as the Orioles' everyday shortstop since Freddy Galvis was placed on the injured list June 27. In 15 games since then, Urias is slashing .328/.381/.483 with two homers, 10 RBI, six runs scored and a 5:11 BB:K. He also has eight games with multiple hits over that span. Urias should have at least another week in that starting role with Galvis' absence expected to be between one-to-two months and is worth a look in deeper mixed leagues or AL-only formats.

Abraham Toro 1B | BOS
Astros' Abraham Toro: Knocks lone hit
Toro went 1-for-3 in Sunday's 4-0 loss to the White Sox.
Toro's third-inning single was the only hit the Astros mustered against three Chicago pitchers. He remains the primary fill-in at third base for the injured Alex Bregman (quadriceps), who was expected to begin a rehab assignment in mid-July but hasn't yet. The injured third baseman could join Triple-A Sugar Land during a road trip that begins Thursday. That means Toro should be good for multiple starts this week.

Alex Bregman 3B | CHC
Astros' Alex Bregman: Still waiting on rehab
Bregman remains in Houston rehabilitating his strained left quadriceps, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Earlier this month, Bregman was giddy about beginning a rehab assignment at Triple-A Sugar Land this past week, but that never materialized. Houston general manager James Click said the infielder could join the Skeeters on their six-game road trip to Oklahoma City, which begins Thursday, then said "but if not it won't be too far behind that." Bregman has missed 27 games since straining the left quad June 16. Abraham Toro is picking up the majority of starts at third base in his absence.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Rips first HR since early June
Moncada went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Astros.
Moncada's hit safely in all three games following the All-Star break, including Sunday's blast, his first since June 3. The third baseman is slashing .272/.402/.391 with five home runs, 40 RBI and 39 runs over 80 games.

Jeimer Candelario 3B | LAA
Tigers' Jeimer Candelario: Goes deep in win
Candelario went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an RBI double in Sunday's 7-0 win over Minnesota.
Candelario provided his RBI double in the third inning to cap off a three-run rally. He added extra insurance in the seventh inning with his sixth homer of the season. The 27-year-old has added 21 doubles, 27 RBI, 39 runs scored and a .264/.347/.389 slash line through 354 plate appearances. He remains a bit on the soft-hitting side -- Sunday's homer was just his second since May 18 -- but he's gotten on base at a healthy clip in 2021.

Tyler Freeman 3B | COL
Indians' Tyler Freeman: Returns from IL
Double-A Akron reinstated Freeman (shoulder) from the 7-day injured list Sunday.
Freeman had been inactive since June 23 due to a strained left shoulder. One of the top position prospects in the Cleveland farm system, Freeman was slashing .327/.377/.469 across 162 plate appearances prior to landing on the IL.

Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU
Tigers' Isaac Paredes: Starting again Sunday
Paredes is starting at second base and batting sixth in Sunday's game against the Twins.
Paredes started one of the two games in Saturday's doubleheader and will start again to wrap up the series. It looks like the 22-year-old will get plenty of playing time at the keystone for however long Willi Castro remains at Triple-A, with Harold Castro sticking in his utility role.
