Taylor Walls 3B | TB
Rays' Taylor Walls: Swats solo homer off Kikuchi
Walls went 1-for-3 with a solo home run during Saturday's 5-2 loss against Toronto.
Walls' homer broke up Yusei Kikuchi's shutout in the sixth inning. It was Walls' first homer of the 2023 campaign. The slick-fielding infielder should continue to see playing time against southpaws, but his lack of guaranteed playing time along with limited offensive upside don't appear to spell long- or short-term fantasy success.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Yankees' Josh Donaldson: May return Sunday
Donaldson (hamstring) "feels completely healed" and is hoping to be activated from the IL on Sunday, Randy Miller of NJ Advance Media reports.
Donaldson began raising the intensity of his workouts earlier this week and appears to be just about past the strained right hamstring that landed him on the injured list April 8. According to Yankees manager Aaron Boone, the veteran third baseman "looks good" and is "moving well." Donaldson is eligible to be activated Sunday, though the Yankees are off Monday, so they may opt to take advantage of the extra recovery day and wait until Tuesday to bring him off the IL.

Oswald Peraza 3B | LAA
Yankees' Oswald Peraza: Active at Triple-A
Peraza is 4-for-14 with two RBI and one strikeout in three games for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre since returning from a minor hamstring injury.
He ended up missing only four days with a hamstring injury. All told, the 22-year-old shortstop is slashing .289/.357/.316 with zero home runs and five stolen bases in nine games. He had a 22.9 percent strikeout rate at Triple-A last season, but so far he is down to a 19 percent strikeout rate in his return to the level. Peraza will bide his time in the minors until an injury or poor performance results in playing time opening up in the big-league infield.

Ramon Urias 3B | STL
Orioles' Ramon Urias: Exits after HBP to head
Urias was removed from Saturday's game against the White Sox after taking a pitch to the head, Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
Urias got struck on the left side of his helmet by a Kendall Graveman fastball that was clocked at 96.2 mph. He did eventually walk off the field under his own power but will likely be put in concussion protocol. Gunnar Henderson, who originally had the day off, entered the game for Urias in the top of the seventh inning.

Ryan Kreidler 3B | MIN
Tigers' Ryan Kreidler: Optioned to Triple-A
Kreidler was optioned Saturday to Triple-A Toledo.
Kreidler was just 2-for-18 (.111) with two singles and seven strikeouts through 11 games this season with Detroit.

Gunnar Henderson 3B | BAL
Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Out of lineup Saturday vs. Chicago
Henderson is out of the lineup Saturday against the White Sox.
This looks to be a routine day of rest for Henderson, who is batting just .150 but drew two more walks Friday and boasts a .358 on-base percentage on the year. Adley Rutschman is taking a turn at designated hitter and Ramon Urias will play third base.

Rafael Devers 3B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Homers again
Devers batted cleanup and went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and a second run scored in Friday's 5-3 win over the Angels.
Devers adjusted to a new spot in the batting order by blasting his sixth homer in 13 games. Masataka Yoshida (hamstring) is the normal cleanup batter and has been unavailable the last three games, but he could return Saturday.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Returns to lineup Saturday
LeMahieu (quad) is back in the starting lineup Saturday against the Twins.
LeMahieu will play third base and bat leadoff on Jackie Robinson Day in the Bronx after missing three straight games because of quad tightness. He's registered a cool .833 OPS through 42 plate appearances this season.

Nick Maton DH | CHW
Tigers' Nick Maton: Plays hero off bench
Maton went 1-for-3 with a walk and a walkoff three-run home run in Friday's 7-5 extra-innings win over the Giants.
He began the night on the bench, but Maton pinch hit for Tyler Nevin in the fifth inning and remained in the game at third base, eventually playing hero in the 11th by driving a Camilo Doval fastball over the wall in right field. After hitting only 10 homers in 92 games between Triple-A and the majors last season in the Phillies' organization, Maton has gone yard three times in his first 12 contests as a Tiger. His .194 batting average (7-for-36) and 30.2 percent strikeout rate will need to improve if he's going to continue getting regular playing time.

Jake Burger 3B | TEX
White Sox's Jake Burger: Slugs second homer
Burger went 1-for-2 with a solo home run Friday against the Orioles.
Burger smacked his second homer of the season in the second inning of Friday's game when he took Tyler Wells deep to center field. He drew the start at third base in the absence of Yoan Moncada (back), and he should have the chance for some consistent playing time in the short term with Moncada and Tim Anderson (knee) on the injured list. While Burger has four extra-base hits across 14 plate appearances to begin the season, he has also struck out six times in that span.
