Castro (oblique) worked out Monday and could be activated from the injured list when eligible Thursday, the Minnesota Star Tribune reports.

Castro will hit from the left side, which was hindered by his oblique injury, on Tuesday. If all goes well the Twins will then figure out his next course of action but it sounds like he may not need to go on a rehab assignment. He originally strained his right oblique on April 16.

Julien went 1-for-5 with a solo homer and a walk in Monday's 11-1 victory over the Guardians.

The Minnesota second baseman hit the game's first pitch out of the park, launching it 403 feet to center off starter Gavin Williams. Julien has been hitting leadoff in a strong-side platoon lately and should get plenty of run while Luke Keaschall (forearm) is on the injured list. Across 92 plate appearances, Julien is slashing .213/.304/.350 with two homers, eight runs scored and eight RBI.

McNeil went 2-for-5 with a homer, a triple and three RBI in Monday's 19-5 victory at Washington.

McNeil took starter Trevor Williams deep in the fifth inning, crushing the ball 420 feet for his first long ball of the season. The 33-year-old also cracked his first triple of the season in the sixth inning. McNeil made his fourth career start in center field in this game, and he could be in line to receive regular playing time there with Jose Siri (leg) out until at least June.

Rodgers is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Tigers.

Rodgers' time as the Astros' primary second baseman may be over, as he'll take a seat for the third time in four games while he's mustered a weak .602 OPS through his first 57 plate appearances of the season. Mauricio Dubon will cover the keystone Monday, but the Astros could move Jose Altuve back to the infield on a more permanent basis if the club decides to phase Rodgers out while opening up more playing time in the outfield for Zach Dezenzo and/or Chas McCormick.

Schneemann is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Twins.

Schneemann will hit the bench after he had picked up starts -- two at second base and one in left field -- in each of the last three contests. The 28-year-old owns a .715 OPS over 49 plate appearances on the season, and while he doesn't appear to have a grasp on a full-time role, he should remain in line for a handful of starts per week against right-handed pitching due to his ability to play multiple infield and outfield spots.

Farmer is not in the lineup for Monday's game versus Atlanta.

Farmer's playing time has been slipping lately, as he's now been in the lineup for just half of the Rockies' last eight games and just one of their last four tilts versus right-handers. Alan Trejo is at shortstop and Adael Amador is at second base in Monday's series opener.

Mauricio (knee) went 1-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base Sunday for Single-A St. Lucie.

After missing the entire 2024 campaign due to ACL surgery that required a follow-up procedure last August, Mauricio was brought along slowly by the Mets this spring and didn't see his first game action of the year until Sunday. The 24-year-old wasted no time demonstrating that he was fully healthy, singling up the middle in his first at-bat and promptly swiping second base. Mauricio still has a minor-league option left, so there's no guarantee he'll be added to the Mets' 26-man roster once his rehab assignment is over, but it looks like he could be ready to bolster the big-league infield within a few weeks. In his last full season in the minors in 2023, Mauricio slashed .292/.346/.506 over 116 games for Triple-A Syracuse with 23 homers and 24 steals.

Rojas (toe) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Rojas' progress from a hairline fracture in his right big toe has been slow, but he's finally come along far enough to be cleared to participate in game action for the first time since suffering the injury in mid-March. The 30-year-old had been expected to serve as Chicago's primary second baseman before getting hurt and could still end up filling that role when activated from the injured list, but he offers the versatility to play multiple positions, if needed.

Acuna is starting at second base and batting ninth in Monday's game versus the Nationals, Andrew Tredinnick of NorthJersey.com reports.

Acuna has now been in the lineup three times in four games since Jeff McNeil returned from the injured list, as McNeil has started in center field twice during that span and was on the bench the one time the Mets faced a lefty. If McNeil proves to be a viable option on a regular basis in center field, Acuna could find himself in the lineup often at the keystone.

Koss went 1-for-3 with an RBI in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Rangers.

Koss lined a two-out RBI single into left field to tie the game at 2-2 in the fourth frame. The 27-year-old infielder owns a .333 batting average in his last five appearances after hitting .143 in his first seven. Koss has recorded a hit in each of the Giants' previous two games, receiving the starting nod at second base while Tyler Fitzgerald recovers from a chest contusion. Koss is now slashing .217/.280/.217 with four runs scored and a 1:8 BB:K across 26 plate appearances.
