Lowe is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Tigers, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

He'll sit for the second time in the series with Detroit deploying another lefty starting pitcher (Daniel Norris). Daniel Robertson will pick up a start at second base in Lowe's stead.

Frazier is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Braves.

Frazier will rest for the day game after a night game after starting in each of the Pirates' last seven contests. Kevin Newman -- who unseated Frazier as the team's primary leadoff man in late May -- will man the keystone in the series finale.

Drury went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Wednesday's win over the Yankees.

The utility player got the start at third base in this one, with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. slotting in at designated hitter, and responded with his sixth homer of the year. Drury has five multi-hit performances in his last 10 games, slashing .342/.381/.553 over that stretch, but his playing time will likely remain spotty as the rebuilding Jays put an emphasis on developing the group of top prospects they currently have on the big-league roster.

McNeil is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Giants, Matt Ehalt of Yahoo Sports reports.

Since being activated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, McNeil has started in both of the Mets' games, going 4-for-10 with a double and a run scored between the two contests. Per Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News, manager Mickey Callaway said McNeil sit Thursday as part of a pre-planned day off, suggesting the 27-year-old didn't experience any setbacks with his left hamstring in either of his two starts. Expect McNeil to check back into the lineup for Friday's series opener against the Rockies.

Rosario went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's 7-0 win over the Giants.

His fourth-inning blast off Tyler Beede gave Rosario seven homers on the year, including three in his last 12 games. The shortstop's .251/.294/.416 slash line does limit his fantasy appeal to deeper formats, but the 23-year-old could still enjoy a second-half surge as he did in 2018.

Hernandez is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against Arizona, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Hernandez had started five of the last six games, going 6-for-21 with a pair of homers over that stretch. Chris Taylor will start at second base in his absence.

Chavis was named the AL Rookie of the Month for May, Michael Silverman of the Boston Herald reports.

Chavis posted a slash line of .248/.331/.457 during the month with seven home runs, 19 RBI, 11 walks and 14 runs. More accurately, Chavis was the best rookie of the first three weeks of May, as he cooled off dramatically over the final eight games while hitting just .194 with no extra-base hits. Manager Alex Cora said opposing pitchers are attacking Chavis up in the zone. "There are certain teams that have special fastballs and we faced the last three weekends two of those teams, and you can see where they're going," Cora said of the Yankees and Astros. "Not everybody throws 97 with hop so it's just one of those that they're going to a spot and sometimes you want to get on top of that pitch and you don't. Sometimes it's better off just being disciplined up in the zone and right now he's not." Chavis will get the opportunity to break out of his slump and work on laying off pitches up in the zone, considering he'll continue to serve as the primary first baseman with Mitch Moreland (back) and Steve Pearce (back) sidelined.

Hernandez went 2-for-5 with an RBI single and a solo home run in Tuesday's 9-0 win over the Diamondbacks.

His solo shot to lead off the seventh inning padded a 3-0 lead, and Hernandez added a run-scoring single in the eighth for good measure. The veteran utility player has now gone yard three times in his last eight games, giving him 10 homers on the year to go along with a tepid .224/.296/.417 slash line.

Kemp went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and scored twice overall in Tuesday's victory over Seattle.

Kemp cleared the right-field fence in the third inning to plate Houston's first run and later came around to score on a Jake Marisnick double. The blast was Kemp's third of the year and first since April 27. However, even factoring in Tuesday's production, his season slash line still sits at a paltry .229/.312/.396.

Altuve (hamstring) fielded grounders and participated in batting practice for the second consecutive day Tuesday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Altuve was pulled from his rehab assignment last week with right leg fatigue, so his quick return to baseball activities is a positive sign for his progression. The 29-year-old did some running Monday and will do so again Wednesday while he rebuilds the strength in his lower half. Manager AJ Hinch was unsure whether Altuve -- who will require another rehab assignment -- would be available for Houston's upcoming homestand, which runs June 7 though 16.
