Marte went 2-for-4 with a solo home run during Thursday's loss to the Dodgers.

Marte found his stride early with a leadoff single in the first inning, then got the Diamondbacks on the board by swatting an opposite-field home run off Ross Stripling in the third. It was the first long ball of the season for the 26-year-old, who enjoyed a breakout 2019 campaign that included 32 homers and a .329 average across 144 games.

Torres (elbow) told reporters that he thinks he'll be able to play in Friday's game against the Red Sox after being hit by a pitch and exiting Thursday's win over the Orioles, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

X-rays on Torres elbow came back negative earlier Thursday evening, so the shortstop's optimism about playing in Friday's rivalry matchup doesn't come as a surprise. The 23-year-old has notched three hits, including one home run, in 14 at-bats thus far.

McNeil went 2-for-4 with two RBI against the Red Sox on Thursday.

McNeil provided a bases-loaded single in the bottom of the third inning, accounting for the entirety of the Mets' offense in the contest. He's opened the season by reaching base 10 times in his first 31 plate appearances, with just two strikeouts to this point.

Torres has been diagnosed with a right elbow contusion after being hit by a pitch in the first inning of Thursday's game against the Orioles.

Torres stayed in the game after being checked on by trainers, but he was later replaced by Tyler Wade in the fourth inning. With X-rays on Torres' elbow coming back negative, the shortstop seems unlikely to miss an extended period of time, although it's not yet clear if he'll be able to play in Friday's series opener against the Red Sox.

Rengifo is in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Mariners, batting ninth and playing second base.

Rengifo was activated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday after dealing with a hamstring injury suffered during summer camp in mid-July. The 23-year-old was going to have a tough time finding consistent playing time in the Halos' crowded infield, but with Andrelton Simmons placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Rengifo will likely see his fair share of time at the keystone in the coming days as David Fletcher shifts to shortstop.

Biggio went 1-for-5 with a solo home run Thursday against the Nationals.

Biggio took Javy Guerra deep in the in the seventh inning, pulling an offering just over the right-field wall. It was his second home run of the season, but first since Opening Day. Biggio has struggled to get going to this point in the campaign, reaching base just eight times in first 32 plate appearances.

Torres exited Thursday's game against the Orioles after being hit by a pitch in the first inning, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

Torres was initially able to stay in the game after being hit on the elbow by a John Means pitch in the first inning. However, the shortstop was later replaced by Tyler Wade in the the bottom of the fourth. It's not yet clear if the young star will be forced to miss any time beyond Thursday.

Hernandez will be added to the Rangers' 60-man player pool, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Hernandez will begin working out at the team's satellite camp once he clears the necessary intake tests. The 22-year-old appeared in 50 games with Double-A Frisco in 2019, slashing .276/.394/.329 with 16 steals.

Dubon isn't in the lineup Thursday against the Padres.

Dubon didn't play in Wednesday's contest and he'll sit once again Thursday. Donovan Solano, will take his place at second base and bat third in the series finale against San Diego.

Wong cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Sacramento on Thursday.

Wong will remain with San Francisco after passing through waivers untouched. He spent most of the 2019 season with Triple-A Durham, slashing .307/.375/.464 with 10 homers and six steals in 113 games.
