Stott went 2-for-3 with a walk and a double in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Diamondbacks.
With Trea Turner (hamstring) and Edmundo Sosa (groin) both on the injured list, Stott has started each of Philadelphia's last eight games to help pick up the slack. Stott had a weak .645 OPS through July 30, but he's fared far better at the dish ever since. Over his last 150 plate appearances, he's slashing .321/.393/.519 with 15 extra-base hits, 24 RBI, 21 runs scored and seven stolen bases to raise his OPS to .719 for the year.

Turang went 1-for-5 with one RBI in Saturday's 3-2 extra-inning victory at St. Louis.
Turang knocked home the automatic runner in the 10th with a single to give his club a 3-2 lead. Turang has anchored the division-leading Brewers with a .286 (18-for-63) average, two homers, two steals, 10 runs scored and nine RBI in 17 games this month. Overall, the 25-year-old has enjoyed a fantastic breakout season and is now slashing .286/.356/.436 with 18 homers, 24 stolen bases, 95 runs scored and 77 RBI across 632 plate appearances.

Yorke went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 2-0 win over the Athletics.
Yorke got the Pirates on the board with his first home run since making his season debut Sept. 2. The 23-year-old also notched his first multi-hit game Saturday and has now hit safely in three straight contests. For the year, he's gone 10-for-46 with three extra-base hits, six RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base across 48 major-league plate appearances.

Tawa isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Phillies, Jack Sommers of SI.com reports.
The D-backs will keep Tawa on the bench Saturday after he went 0-for-4 with a strikeout in Friday's series opener. His absence will allow Ildemaro Vargas to start at first base and bat eighth.

Marlins' Xavier Edwards: Returning to action Saturday
Edwards (wrist) will start at second base and bat third Saturday against the Rangers.
Edwards missed six straight starts while nursing a wrist injury, though he was able to go 2-for-3 with an RBI off the bench Friday. Now fully recovered, he'll return to the starting nine and aim to end the season on a high note after slashing .243/.317/.324 across 41 plate appearances to begin September.

Nationals' Luis Garcia: Absent from lineup
Garcia isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Mets, Spencer Nusbaum of The Washington Post reports.
After going 0-for-4 in Friday's series opener, Garcia will step out of the starting nine Saturday while Nasim Nunez starts at second base and bats ninth.

Dodgers' Miguel Rojas: Lifts seventh homer
Rojas went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a double and two total runs scored in Friday's 6-3 win over the Giants.
Rojas hadn't hit a homer since July 19 versus the Brewers. He hit a decent .261 with a .664 OPS over the 48 games between long balls before his second-inning solo shot Friday. The utility infielder is up to seven homers this season, and he's added 27 RBI, 34 runs scored and five stolen bases while slashing .266/.325/.402 through 297 plate appearances this year.

Marte went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Friday's 8-2 loss to the Phillies.
Marte had gone 13 games without a homer, batting just .140 (7-for-50) in that span. He got the offense going early with a solo shot in the first inning Friday, but the Diamondbacks were able to put only one more run on the board. Marte is now at 26 homers, 67 RBI, 80 runs scored, four stolen bases, 25 doubles and a .279/.375/.508 slash line through 119 contests.

The Phillies optioned Lantigua to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Friday.
Lantigua will cede his spot on the 28-man roster to Alec Bohm (shoulder) as Bohm returns from the 10-day injured list. Lantigua didn't appear in a game for the Phillies. He's slashed .233/.360/.334 with seven home runs and 17 stolen bases across 490 plate appearances with Lehigh Valley.
