  • Josh Rojas 3B | CHW

Diamondbacks' Josh Rojas: Recalled from Triple-A

The Diamondbacks recalled Rojas from Triple-A Reno on Saturday, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

The D-backs sent Rojas down to Triple-A in mid-June, and he's since slashed .259/.322/.389 with two homers and eight RBI across 59 plate appearances. He'll return to Arizona to take Evan Longoria's roster spot after Longoria landed on the IL with a back issue.

  • Brett Wisely 2B | ATL

Giants' Brett Wisely: Sent to Sacramento

The Giants optioned Wisely to Triple-A Sacramento on Saturday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Wisely came up from the minors on July 3 and has since slashed .132/.233/.158 across 43 plate appearances. He'll now attempt to get back on track in Triple-A while Brandon Crawford (knee) comes back from the injured list to fill Wisely's roster spot.

  • Amed Rosario SS | NYY

Dodgers' Amed Rosario: Sits against righty

Rosario is not in Saturday's lineup against the Reds.

He got a start at shortstop Friday against lefty Brandon Williamson, but will sit against righty Luke Weaver in his second game with the Dodgers. Rosario's playing time and lineup spot both look less favorable following the trade, which makes him expendable in some mixed leagues. Miguel Rojas is starting at shortstop Saturday and batting ninth.

  • Jahmai Jones 2B | DET

Brewers' Jahmai Jones: Optioned to Nashville

The Brewers optioned Jones to Triple-A Nashville on Saturday.

With the acquisition of Carlos Santana from Pittsburgh, Jones will be forced off the Brewers' active roster to create space for the veteran first baseman. After a hot start to his career as a Brewer with a three-run double in his debut, Jones cooled off and is just 2-for-10 at the plate this season.

  • Ha-seong Kim 2B | ATL

Padres' Ha-Seong Kim: Nabs 20th steal

Kim went 1-for-2 with two walks, two runs and a stolen base in a 7-1 victory versus the Rangers on Friday.

Kim continued to set the table from atop the lineup, reaching base multiple times for the sixth straight game. The second baseman has failed to get on base in just one game through 21 contests in July, and the lone exception was when he logged just one plate appearance as a pinch hitter against the Blue Jays on July 20. Kim has registered a .325/.438/.550 slash line, five homers, seven RBI, 20 runs, seven thefts and a 14:13 BB:K during his excellent month.

  • Nick Gonzales 2B | PIT

Pirates' Nick Gonzales: Gets Saturday off

Gonzales isn't in the Pirates' lineup Saturday against the Phillies, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Gonzales is 0-for-9 with five strikeouts across his last three games, so he'll get a day off Saturday to regroup. Alika Williams will draw the start at shortstop, and Liover Peguero will man second base while Gonzales rests.

  • Luis Garcia 2B | WAS

Nationals' Luis Garcia: Swats sixth homer

Garcia went 3-for-4 with a double and a solo home run in Friday's 5-1 loss to the Mets.

He spoiled Max Scherzer's shutout bid in the seventh inning with his sixth long ball of the season, but that was one of the few bright spots on the night for the Nationals. Garcia snapped a 44-game homer drought with the blast, a stretch in which the 23-year-old slashed .245/.275/.308 with 16 runs, 16 RBI and four steals.

  • Nolan Gorman 2B | STL

Cardinals' Nolan Gorman: Collects sixth steal

Gorman went 1-for-4 with a double and a stolen base in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Cubs.

Gorman tried to spark the Cardinals' offense on his own in the sixth inning with a double before stealing third base, but he was left stranded. The second baseman started July cold, but he's gone 19-for-65 (.292) with six home runs, 16 RBI, six doubles and two steals over his last 18 games. For the season, the slugger has a .243/.323/.498 slash line with 22 homers, 16 doubles, six steals, 65 RBI and 45 runs scored over 94 contests.

  • Ketel Marte 2B | ARI

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Gets aboard four times

Marte went 3-for-4 with a walk in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Mariners.

Marte was able to make some noise against his former team, but he wasn't directly involved in any run-scoring plays. He saw a six-game hitting streak end Wednesday versus the Cardinals, but he's still logged six multi-hit efforts in 13 games since the All-Star break. The second baseman is at a .296/.375/.517 slash line with 17 home runs, 55 RBI, 70 runs scored and six stolen bases through 97 contests.

  • Owen Miller 2B | CHC

Brewers' Owen Miller: Day off Friday

Miller isn't in the Brewers' lineup Friday against Atlanta.

Miller is slashing just .183/.218/.254 since the beginning of July, and he'll take a seat Friday as the Brewers look to get more production out of their lineup. Abraham Toro will start at first base Friday for Milwaukee and bat sixth, but it's the Thursday acquisition of Carlos Santana that could spell an end to Miller's run as a regular starter for the Brewers.
