Nico Hoerner 2B | CHC
Cubs' Nico Hoerner: Steals base, scores twice in win
Hoerner went 2-for-4 with two runs scored in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Twins. He also stole a base.
Hoerner reached 20 stolen bases in a season for the third straight year as he continued his strong recent play. Over his last 10 games, the infielder is batting .302, and he's swiped six bases in that span. Hoerner isn't a huge power threat with just four home runs on the season, but he can be an effective fantasy asset when he's reaching base and running often.

Vidal Brujan 2B | NYM
Marlins' Vidal Brujan: On bench Tuesday
Brujan is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Reds.
Brujan drew the start in center field Monday -- a position he could see regular work at moving forward -- but he'll take a seat Tuesday in favor of Cristian Pache. The pair are likely to share center field duties, but Derek Hill could mix in at the position.

Luis Garcia 2B | WAS
Nationals' Luis Garcia: Busy on basepaths again
Garcia went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Monday's loss to the Giants.
The 24-year-old second baseman came into 2024 with just 13 career stolen bases in the majors, but Monday's pilfer was his 18th in 21 attempts this season. Garcia's on pace for career highs nearly across the board in a breakout campaign, slashing .290/.324/.459 through 97 games with 13 homers, 40 runs and 53 RBI, and he's been blazing hot of late -- over his last 24 games, he boasts a .395/.435/.686 slash line with six long balls and seven steals.

Vidal Brujan 2B | NYM
Marlins' Vidal Brujan: Gets start in center field
Brujan went 0-for-3 with a walk in Monday's loss to the Reds.
Getting the start in center field and batting eighth, Brujan made little impact at the plate, but his arrow is pointed up for fantasy purposes. The 26-year-old switch hitter is batting .231 (6-for-26) since the All-Star break with three doubles, a steal, an RBI, five runs scored and a 6:7 BB:K, and with Nick Gordon booted off the roster, Brujan will compete with Cristian Pache and Derek Hill for playing time in center field.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Launches leadoff home run
Marte went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 7-6 win against the Guardians.
Marte took Logan Allen deep in the very first pitch of the game. It was Marte's fifth leadoff homer this season, which trails only Kyle Schwarber and Gunnar Henderson for most this season. Marte has been on a tear over his last 13 games with nine home runs and 21 RBI in that span. The 30-year-old is putting together another stellar campaign, hitting .300/.366/.557 with 28 home runs and 78 RBI through 108 games.

Jeff McNeil 2B | ATH
Mets' Jeff McNeil: Blasts 10th home run
McNeil went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and two runs scored in Monday's 6-0 win over the Cardinals.
McNeil took Shawn Armstrong deep in the sixth inning to continue his sudden surge at the plate. The veteran is hitting .348 with five home runs and 16 RBI over his last 20 games. McNeil has now reached double-digit home runs in each of his last two seasons after not doing so since 2019. The Mets will head to Coors Field on Tuesday, although they are scheduled to face two lefties in the three-game series, and McNeil has been mostly playing against righties.

Luisangel Acuna 2B | CHW
Mets' Luisangel Acuna: Makes cameo off bench Saturday
Acuna (foot) came off the bench and went 0-for-1 while playing four innings at shortstop Saturday in Triple-A Syracuse's 7-1 loss to Columbus.
Acuna was scratched from the lineup ahead of Thursday's game versus Columbus due to a foot injury, and while he has yet to return to the starting nine, his ability to enter the game off the bench Saturday suggests he'll avoid a trip to the 7-day injured list. The 22-year-old infielder is hitting .262/.311/.357 with five home runs and 31 stolen bases over 98 games with Syracuse this season.
