Blandino had a pinch-hit single and came around to score in Friday's win over the Diamondbacks.

Blandino was on the fringe of the Reds' starting shortstop job battle before they moved Eugenio Suarez over from third to short. He's had pinch-hit appearances in all but one of the Reds' first seven games.

White (quadriceps) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Minnesota.

White will miss a second consecutive game after he left Wednesday's contest against the White Sox due to a left quad strain. Manager Scott Servais said Thursday that White is unlikely to require time on the injured list, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports. However, Jose Marmolejos will start at first base Saturday, batting fourth.

Calhoun started in right field, batted second and went 1-for-5 with a double and two RBI in Friday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Reds.

Calhoun was reinstated off the injured list Friday after rehabbing a torn meniscus, for which he underwent a medial meniscectomy early in March. He played his familiar position of right field and was part of a three-run seventh inning, doubling in a pair of runs as part of a furious Arizona comeback. He could also be used in center field while Ketel Marte rehabs a hamstring injury.

Freeman went 1-for-4 with a walk and a two-run home run in Friday's 8-1 win over the Phillies.

He capped the scoring on the night by taking David Hale deep in the eighth inning. Freeman hasn't quite found his groove yet at the plate, going 3-for-22 (.136) through seven games, but two of his hits have left the yard and his 6:3 BB:K suggests there's no reason for concern with the reigning NL MVP.

Olson went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in a victory over the Astros on Friday.

Olson broke a 1-1 tie in the eighth inning, crushing a 414-foot shot to right field with a pair of runners on base. The first baseman entered the game having gone 0-for-11 over his past three games, and Friday's effort pushed his average up to .240 for the campaign.

Tellez isn't starting Friday's game against the Angels, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Tellez will take a seat for the fourth time in the last six games after he went hitless in his first 16 at-bats of the season. Randal Grichuk will serve as the designated hitter Friday while Jonathan Davis starts in center field.

Calhoun (knee) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Friday's game against the Reds.

He will presumably slot into Arizona's lineup against righty Tyler Mahle. Calhoun underwent partial medial meniscectomy surgery March 3, so this is about as quickly as he could have been able to return.

Raley was recalled prior to Friday's game against the Nationals, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

This is the corresponding move to Cody Bellinger (left calf contusion) landing on the 10-day injured list. Raley has big raw power and is a shaky defensive option, so he will primarily provide left-handed power off the bench, although he could see the occassional start in the outfield corners while Bellinger is on the shelf.

France went 2-for-4 with an RBI single in a loss to the Twins on Thursday.

The 26-year-old put together his second multi-hit effort in the last three games. Thursday's production brought France's season slash to .346/.452/.538 over 31 plate appearances, and he's reached base safely in all seven games thus far.

Calhoun (knee) took four at-bats in an intrasquad game Wednesday, Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports.

Calhoun, who underwent meniscus surgery in March, has tested his knee in a variety of ways and appears close to a return. "The quality of at-bat has been good from what I've been reading (in internal reports) and what Kole has been telling me," manager Torey Lovullo said. While he's the team's starter in right field when healthy, it's possible Calhoun could play center field in the wake of Ketel Marte's hamstring injury, which landed him on the injured list Thursday.
