Torkelson was removed from Sunday's game against High-A Wisconsin due to left hamstring tightness, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Torkelson went hitless in his lone at-bat Sunday, and he was replaced by a pinch hitter in the top of the third inning as a precautionary measure. Torkelson has hit .220 with a home run, 11 RBI and three stolen bases to begin the minor-league season.

Rivera (suspension) is slashing .234/.321/.511 with three solo home runs and a 35.8 percent strikeout rate through his 53 plate appearances at High-A West Michigan.

Rivera, who was cleared to play for the start of the 2021 season, hadn't played in affiliated ball since Aug. 4, 2019 after being handed an 80-game suspension for violating minor-league baseball's policy on performance-enhancing drugs. The 23-year-old should continue to play regularly at West Michigan now that he's been reinstated.

Naylor is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

Cleveland will load up on some extra right-handed bats with southpaw J.A. Happ on the hill for Minnesota. The right-handed Jordan Luplow will draw into the Cleveland outfield in place of the lefty-hitting Naylor.

Mountcastle went 2-for-4 with a grand slam, a double and an additional run in Saturday's 12-9 loss to the Nationals.

Mountcastle's bases-loaded blast off Jon Lester in the first inning was the first grand slam by an Orioles rookie since Ryan Flaherty in September 2012, according to Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com. The 24-year-old will remain in the lineup for the series finale Sunday, manning left field and batting seventh. Mountcastle has recorded exactly two hits in three of his last five starts.

Olson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Angels.

Olson did his damage with a solo shot in the sixth to give Oakland a 3-0 lead they didn't relinquish. Other than a run-scoring double play, Olson didn't do anything else of significance on the evening. He is slashing a respectable .260/.345/.540.

Hoskins went 1-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and a walk in a loss to Boston on Saturday.

The first baseman drilled a solo shot to left field in the sixth inning to bring Philadelphia within two runs. In the next frame, he took a hit-by-pitch with the bases loaded to plate another run. Hoskins then had a chance to play the hero in the ninth inning, but he struck out with the winning runs on base to end the game. Hoskins' homer was his first since going deep twice April 26.

Cooper went 3-for-4 with a double and a two-run home run in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Mets.

The 30-year-old is red hot -- he's homered in three straight games -- and this one carried some extra oomph as he took Drew Smith deep in the ninth inning for a walkoff shot. Cooper has a seven-game hitting streak going as well, and the surge has pushed his slash line on the season to .242/.306/.417 with five home runs and 19 RBI through 41 contests.

Bohm will sit Saturday against the Red Sox.

Bohm finds himself on the bench for just the third time all season despite the fact that he's hitting just .225/.254/.337 on the year. Those numbers are a far cry from his .338/.400/.481 line in his rookie season last year, but he's likely to continue getting the chance to work through his struggles at the big-league level given his prospect pedigree and the Phillies' lack of alternatives. Brad Miller will start at third base in his absence.

Bell is not starting Saturday's game against the Orioles, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

The switch hitter receives a day off after enjoying a 3-for-5 performance Friday with an RBI and a run scored to boot. Hitting .370 in his last seven games, Bell may have turned a corner offensively after struggling at the plate for much of the season thus far.

Votto (thumb) was on the field taking grounders with a glove before Saturday's game, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Votto had only done some running and glove-less fielding work before Saturday, so the news suggests progress in his recovery from a fractured left thumb. Although he's certainly not the offensive force he once was, Votto remains a legitimate contributor for the Reds and will presumably be their everyday first baseman once healthy.
