France (wrist) isn't expected to require a trip to the injured list after he underwent an MRI that revealed no structural damage, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

France sat out Sunday against the Astros due to a sore left wrist, and the 28-year-old is expected to require a couple of days to recover before returning to game action. While it's not yet clear exactly when he'll be back in the lineup, manager Scott Servais hopes that France will be able to return at some point during the Mariners' upcoming series against the Yankees.

Kirilloff (wrist) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.

After exiting Saturday's 7-4 win with right wrist soreness, Kirilloff will need at least one day off to heal up. Considering that Kirilloff underwent surgery on that same wrist last season and spent nearly three weeks on the injured list earlier in the season due to inflammation of the wrist, it's somewhat troubling that he's hampered by it again. For now, consider Kirilloff day-to-day heading into Monday's series opener with the Tigers.

Mountcastle (undisclosed) is starting at first base and batting sixth in Sunday's game against the Reds.

Orioles manager Brandon Hyde withheld Mountcastle from the lineup for Saturday's 8-2 loss due to the 25-year-old being "banged up," but Mountcastle evidently feels well enough to return to the field Saturday. Since the All-Star break, Mountcastle has started in eight games while going 2-for-31 (.065 average).

Diaz went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Guardians.

Diaz's fifth-inning long ball off Zach Plesac -- his fifth of the season -- held up as the difference as Tampa Bay ended a two-game losing streak. The 30-year-old, who is batting .281 in six games since the All-Star break, will start at third base and bat second in Sunday's series finale.

Raley is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.

The lefty-hitting Raley will put a five-game hitting streak on hold and take a seat with the Guardians expected to deploy a lefty primary pitcher (Kirk McCarty) in the series finale. The newly acquired David Peralta will enter the outfield in Raley's stead, but both players should have clear paths to steady playing time versus right-handed pitching.

Naylor (ankle) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

Naylor will retreat to the bench for a third straight game due to a sore right ankle, but the lefty-hitting slugger likely would have ducked out of the lineup Sunday even if healthy with the Rays bringing All-Star southpaw Shane McClanahan to the hill. Ernie Clement will fill in at first base for Naylor.

After sitting out Wednesday, France proceeded to start in each of the Mariners' last three games while going 3-for-11 with a double. The Mariners still apparently have some concern about France's ability to play through the injury, so the MRI will determine the club's next course of action for the All-Star first baseman. At this time, a stint on the injured list hasn't been ruled out for France, who can be considered day-to-day heading into Monday's series opener with the Yankees.

Guerrero went 1-for-2 with a walk, a stolen base and two runs in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Tigers.

Guerrero is now up to two stolen bases on the season, both of which have come within the past week. Since the beginning of July, Guerrero has left the yard just three times, but he hasn't been too much of a disappointment for fantasy managers, considering he's hitting .340 with 16 runs and 16 RBI in addition to two steals on the month. Guerrero will be in the lineup once again for Sunday's series finale with Detroit, manning first base and batting second.

Kirilloff exited Saturday's game with right wrist soreness Saturday against the Padres, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Kirilloff exited the game in the seventh inning, with Mark Contreras taking his place in right field. There are no details about the severity of the injury, though Kirilloff has a history of wrist injuries -- he was forced to the injured list with inflammation in the same wrist earlier this season -- which makes this news more concerning.

Manager Brandon Hyde said that Mountcastle isn't starting Saturday against the Reds since the first baseman is "banged up," Andy Kostka of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Hyde didn't elaborate much on the nature of Mountcastle's injury, only saying that the 25-year-old is dealing with "bumps and bruises." However, Hyde hopes that Mountcastle will be available off the bench Saturday, so it doesn't seem like the issue is particularly serious.
