    The Steelers waived Davis on Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports. Davis signed with the Steelers in early June. The wide receiver has not yet appeared in a regular-season game but has spent time with the Broncos' and Vikings' practice squads. Davis will now be placed on waivers, and if he clears will become a free agent able to sign with any team.

  • Steelers' Joaquin Davis: Signs with Pittsburgh

    Davis signed with the Steelers on Thursday, Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com reports. The 6-foot-4, 195-pound wide receiver spent time on the Vikings practice squad in 2025 and during the 2026 offseason prior to being waived last week. Davis, who entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 NFL Draft, has yet to make his regular-season debut.

Davis caught on with the Vikings' practice squad in early December after failing to make the Broncos' 53-man roster at the end of training camp. The undrafted rookie out of North Carolina Central did not appear in a regular-season game in 2025, but he'll stay with the Vikings and participate in offseason activities in 2026.

    Davis signed with the Vikings' practice squad Wednesday. The North Carolina Central product was dropped by the Broncos in late August but has since found a new home in Minnesota. Davis has yet to make his NFL debut after catching 31 passes for 489 yards and four touchdowns across 11 games during his final collegiate season.

    The Broncos waived Davis on Sunday, Mike Klis of 9NEWS reports. Davis signed with the team as an undrafted free agent in April but was unable to earn a spot on the final roster. The 23-year-old could wind up on the Denver's practice squad should he go unclaimed on waivers.
