Higgins (groin/neck) is expected to play Sunday in Miami, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Higgins emerged from Week 4 with adductor and neck injuries and wasn't able to practice at all Wednesday or Thursday, but he ended the week with a full session and entered the weekend listed as questionable to suit up. Fellow WR Ja'Marr Chase similarly was full Friday and questionable for Week 5 action, but he also is in line to be available to the Bengals offense Sunday. The statuses of both players will be confirmed about 90 minutes before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

The same goes for fellow WR Tee Higgins (groin/neck) after both endured practice restrictions during Week 5 prep but capped it with full sessions Friday. Chase himself made quick work of the protocol for head injuries after he was ripped to the ground via his facemask last Sunday against the Jaguars. On the season, he boasts a 21-212-3 line on 28 targets in parts of four contests.

Matiscik is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Eagles in London due to a shoulder injury.

The long snapper may have gotten hurt when the Jaguars punted following their first possession of the game in the first quarter. If Matiscik is unable to continue, the Jaguars would likely turn to defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton to serve as their fill-in long snapper.

Thomas was ejected from Sunday's game in London after receiving an unnecessary roughness penalty for fighting with the Eagles' Jeremiah Trotter following the opening kickoff, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.

Trotter was also ejected for fighting. An undrafted rookie defensive end out of South Carolina, Thomas has totaled one tackle and a half-sack through the Jaguars' first five contests.

Thomas was also ejected for fighting. Trotter has split his time between defense and special teams in 2026, logging 19 tackles and one pass breakup through five games.

The Eagles are expected to keep Johnson (personal) on the 53-man roster for the remainder of the season, even though he announced his retirement Tuesday, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.

Placing Johnson on the reserve/retired list would carry burdensome salary-cap implications for the Eagles, who appear content to essentially move forward with a 52-man roster before processing his move to the list after June 1 to spread out his cap hit over two years and maintain more financial flexibility. The Eagles are expected to list Johnson as inactive for most of their remaining games, but because of the volume of injured players on the roster in Week 5, he'll technically be active for Sunday's game against the Jaguars in London despite not being with the team, per Berman.

Jackson (ankle), who has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Falcons, has a "real chance" to return to action next week against Cleveland, pending how he responds to rehab, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Jackson didn't practice in an fashion this week after he was sidelined for the entire second half of last Sunday's win over the Titans, but the Ravens remain optimistic that his ankle injury is a short-term concern. Though Tyler Huntley will get the starting nod in place of Jackson against Atlanta, Rapoport notes that the Ravens' franchise quarterback has been "in the building early working crazy to get himself back on the field" this week. Assuming the rehab work Jackson has put in translates into him returning to practice at some point next week, he should be able to meet his goal of playing after a one-game absence.

Williams (hamstring), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Green Bay but isn't expected to suit up, is "pushing to play" Week 6 against the Falcons, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Back on Monday, head coach Ben Johnson announced that Tyson Bagent would start against the Packers, but the Bears elected not to rule Williams out for Week 5 entirely. Williams -- who has missed the Bears' last two games due to a Grade 2 right hamstring strain -- made a surprise return to practice Friday as a limited participant before he was given a questionable tag heading into the weekend. While he still isn't expected to be anything more than an emergency No. 3 quarterback behind Bagent and Case Keenum in Week 5, Williams' return to practice gives him a decent shot at returning to the starting role against Atlanta.

Tate (back), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans, is "definitely trending" toward playing, a source tells Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com.

After a breakout Week 4 performance in a loss to Baltimore (nine catches for 145 yards on 12 targets), Tate has been slowed by a back injury in Week 5. Tate was limited in practices Thursday and Friday, but head coach Robert Saleh said following the latter session that the Titans anticipated that the rookie wideout would be ready to go for Sunday. Tate still looks to be in a good spot on the health front heading into Sunday's game, with official confirmation on his status set to arrive when Tennessee posts its inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

Murray (concussion) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Eagles in London.

Murray took a doubtful designation into the weekend after managing a pair of limited practices Thursday and Friday, but he'll ultimately sit out against Philadelphia after he was unable to clear all five steps of the concussion protocol. With Murray sidelined for Week 5, Rayuan Lane is likely to take his spot as a starter in the secondary.
