Tyreek Hill WR | MIA
Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Sitting out Friday
Hill isn't slated to play in Friday's preseason game against the Falcons, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
The Dolphins offense also won't include QB Tua Tagovailoa, RBs Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson and WR Jaylen Waddle, leaving Cedrick Wilson, River Cracraft, Braxton Berrios and Robbie Chosen, among others, as the team's available wide receivers. Hill's next chance for exhibition action will arrive Saturday, Aug. 19 at Houston.

CeeDee Lamb WR | DAL
Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Unlikely to play Saturday
Lamb isn't expected to play in Saturday's preseason opener against the Jaguars, The Athletic's Jon Machota reports.
This comes as no surprise. Lamb is expected to be joined on the sidelines by fellow veterans Dak Prescott, Micah Parsons, and Brandin Cooks. Lamb has unsurprisingly been a standout at Cowboys camp this summer and should be teed up as a surefire fantasy WR1 this season.

Cade Johnson WR | SEA
Seahawks' Cade Johnson: Released from hospital
Johnson (concussion) was released from the hospital Friday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Johnson was taken to the hospital after taking a big hit during Thursday's preseason game against the Vikings. Tests at the hospital revealed no additional injuries beyond the concussion, and it's encouraging that Johnson has been released the next day. Nonetheless, he will have to clear the league's five-step concussion protocol before returning to the football field.

Elijah Moore WR | PHI
Browns' Elijah Moore: Continuing to star at training camp
Moore has been "the offensive star" of Browns camp and has "proven to be the perfect complement" to Deshaun Watson, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Moore has carried his strong spring over to training camp, even after the pads have come on. "Lining up in the backfield, in the slot and outside, Moore has done it all in camp, while demonstrating excellent hands and adept route-running," wrote Cabot. By all accounts, Moore seems to have taken hold of slot duties and should be in the mix to finish second on the team in targets behind Amari Cooper. Moore will look to rebound in Cleveland and could flirt with WR3 fantasy numbers.

Davante Adams WR | LAR
Raiders' Davante Adams: Injury reportedly minor
The apparent right leg issue that caused Adams to exit Friday's practice is believed to be minor, according to Tashan Reed of The Athletic.
Adams' status is nonetheless something to monitor, but Reed's report suggests that the wideout avoided a major injury after walking off the field gingerly Friday. Coach Josh McDaniels downplayed the injury after Friday's practice. "I don't think it was crazy serious," McDaniels said. Adams will sit out Sunday's preseason opener against San Francisco, but he wasn't excepted to suit up even before getting hurt.

Cade Johnson WR | SEA
Seahawks' Cade Johnson: Tests reveal concussion
Tests at Seattle's Harborview Medical Center revealed a concussion but no additional injuries for Johnson, who was transported to the hospital after exiting Thursday's preseason game against the Vikings, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
Johnson was wobbly after getting tackled on a kickoff return in the second quarter. He remained in the blue medical tent until halftime and was then transported to the hospital. It's encouraging that the extent of Johnson's injury was limited to the concussion, but it's too early to determine his recovery timeline at this point, and the receiver will have to clear the NFL's five-step concussion protocol before he can return to the field.

Kalif Raymond WR | CHI
Lions' Kalif Raymond: Signs two-year extension
Raymond agreed to a two-year extension with the Lions on Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Raymond's contributions come primarily on special teams. He has topped 200 punt return yards in each of the past three seasons and scored one punt-return touchdown in 2022. Raymond also provides Detroit with depth at wide receiver, having compiled 1,192 receiving yards and four touchdowns in his previous two seasons with the Lions.

Keke Coutee WR | MIA
Keke Coutee: Cut by New Orleans
Coutee was released by the Saints on Friday, John Sigler of USA Today Saints Wire reports.
Coutee had been in camp with New Orleans since signing with the team in June. The 26-year-old wide receiver will likely draw some interest in free agency, as Coutee has logged 33 NFL appearances since 2018 between the Texans and Colts.

Davante Adams WR | LAR
Raiders' Davante Adams: Exits Friday's practice
Adams headed to the locker room during Friday's practice after sustaining what appeared to be a right leg injury, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Bonsignore noted that Adams was limping slightly after absorbing a hit during 11-on-11 drills. Until further information is available, consider the Raiders' top wideout day-to-day ahead of Sunday's preseason opener against the 49ers.

Tyquan Thornton WR | KC
Patriots' Tyquan Thornton: Catches two passes Thursday
Thornton caught both of his targets for 31 yards in Thursday's 20-9 preseason loss to the Texans.
With veteran wideouts JuJu Smith-Schuster, DeVante Parkerand Kendrick Bourne held out of the contest, along with multiple other key players, Thornton ended up logging 14 snaps versus Houston, with the highlight of his evening coming on a 27-yard leaping grab of a Bailey Zappe pass. As the 2023 season approaches, the speedy Thornton has an opportunity to serve as an outside deep threat for the Patriots, but as long as Smith-Schuster, Parker and Bourne are all available, steady targets may be elusive for the 2022 second-rounder.
