  • Tank Dell WR | HOU

Texans' Tank Dell: Still not practicing

Dell (concussion) wasn't spotted during the media-access portion of Friday's practice, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Dell also missed practice Wednesday and Thursday, so the wideout's continued absence Friday suggests that he's trending toward missing Sunday's game against the Saints. The Texans' upcoming injury report will add some clarity on that front, and if Dell is out this weekend, John Metchie and Xavier Hutchinson would figure to see added WR snaps in Week 6.

  • Tee Higgins WR | CIN

Bengals' Tee Higgins: Considered game-time decision

Higgins (ribs) will be listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Seahawks and is viewed as a game-time call for the contest, Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official site reports.

Per Kelsey Conway of The Cincinnati Enquirer, coach Zac Taylor indicated that things appear "positive" regarding Higgins' status, but it looks like the team will wait until Sunday before making a final call on the wideout's availability. Fortunately for those considering Higgins in Week 6 fantasy lineups, the Bengals face the Seahawks at 1:00 ET on Sunday.

  • Zay Jones WR | ARI

Jaguars' Zay Jones: Coach says he'll likely miss Week 6

Head coach Doug Pederson expects Jones (knee) to sit out Sunday's game against the Colts, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.

Jacksonville will release its official injury report later Friday, but the update from Pederson suggests Jones' fantasy managers can start fielding alternatives. Jones returned from a two-game absence due to a knee injury in Week 5 but aggravated the injury after scoring his second touchdown in three appearances. Jamal Agnew and Tim Jones could see more playing time if Jones is inactive as expected.

  • Patriots' JuJu Smith-Schuster: Still not practicing

Smith-Schuster (concussion) wasn't seen on the practice field Friday, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.

The same goes for Demario Douglas, and if neither player can go Sunday against the Raiders, the Patriots' top available wideouts would be DeVante Parker and Kendrick Bourne, with Kayshon Boutte and the versatile Ty Montgomery also in the mix. Additionally, Tyquan Thornton (shoulder) could be activated from IR ahead of Week 6 action.

  • Patriots' Demario Douglas: Absent from practice again

Douglas (concussion) was not spotted at Friday's practice, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.

Douglas appears to be missing his third straight practice of the week, which makes it seem unlikely that he will clear the NFL's concussion protocol in time for Sunday's road matchup against the Raiders. The same is true of JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion), so New England's receiving corps could be especially thin in Las Vegas. If Douglas and/or Smith-Schuster indeed can't suit up Week 6, Kayshon Boutte and the versatile Ty Montgomery could factor in behind DeVante Parker and Kendrick Bourne this weekend, while Tyquan Thornton (shoulder) is a candidate to be activated from IR ahead of Week 6 action.

  • Kadarius Toney WR | CLE

Chiefs' Kadarius Toney: Gets into end zone Thursday

Toney brought in three of six targets for nine yards and a touchdown and rushed twice for minus-5 yards in the Chiefs' 19-8 win over the Broncos on Thursday night.

Toney managed to salvage a night in which he gained all of four net yards with his three-yard scoring grab in the second quarter, his first regular-season receiving score in a Chiefs uniform. Toney has yet to eclipse 35 receiving yards in a game this season and has actually now recorded single-digit or zero yardage on three occasions, so despite his role in a prolific offense, he remains a speculative fantasy option for a Week 7 home matchup against the Chargers on Sunday, Oct. 22.

  • Rashee Rice WR | KC

Chiefs' Rashee Rice: Encouraging numbers in Week 6 win

Rice brought in all four targets for 72 yards in the Chiefs' 19-8 win over the Broncos on Thursday night.

Rice finished second in receiving yards on the night for the Chiefs with a figure that was also his best over the first six games of his career. The speedy rookie has been fairly consistent in a passing game that runs first and foremost through Travis Kelce and often spreads the ball around pretty widely otherwise, recording at least three receptions in all but one contest and snagging a pair of touchdowns. Rice has logged five or more targets on four occasions as well, giving him plenty of momentum going into a Week 7 home divisional battle versus the Chargers on Sunday, Oct. 22.

  • Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE

Broncos' Jerry Jeudy: Forgettable performance in loss

Jeudy brought in three of five targets for 14 yards in the Broncos' 19-8 loss to the Chiefs on Thursday night.

Jeudy looked nothing like a No. 1 receiver on a night where Russell Wilson threw for 95 yards, and the fourth-year receiver's yardage total was his lowest since Week 2 of the 2022 season. The 2020 first-round pick was coming off a season-high tally of six receptions in Week 5, so perhaps Thursday night's numbers will subsequently prove an outlier that was mostly the byproduct of facing a tough defense. Jeudy's next opportunity to put the washout of a night behind him comes in a Week 7 home matchup against the Packers on Sunday, Oct. 22.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Bounces back with TD grab in loss

Sutton secured four of six targets for 46 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos' 19-8 loss to the Chiefs on Thursday night.

Sutton's modest reception, yardage and target totals all led the Broncos on the night, and he was also the only one on his squad to visit the end zone. The veteran wideout's 11-yard scoring grab in the fourth quarter was a highlight-reel catch, with Sutton securing the ball with his right hand and keeping his feet inbounds while falling and being smothered by Chiefs cornerback Jaylen Watson. Sutton has somehow manage to mostly sidestep the malaise that's hung over the Broncos for most of the season, already recording three touchdown receptions after not having eclipsed two since 2019 and posting at least four catches in four of six games. Sutton's next opportunity to add to his solid start comes in a Week 7 home matchup against the Packers on Sunday, Oct. 22.

  • Justin Watson WR | HOU

Chiefs' Justin Watson: Suffers elbow injury

Watson suffered an elbow injury during Thursday's 19-8 win over the Broncos, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

It's unclear when Watson suffered the injury, though it may have been on a long pass attempt in the fourth quarter, or what the exact nature of the issue may be. Watson was held to only one target with no receptions during the win.
