  • Curtis Samuel WR | BUF

    Commanders' Curtis Samuel: Practicing Thursday

Samuel (foot) took part in Thursday's practice, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

Samuel was listed as a DNP for the third time this season Wednesday due to a foot injury after previously missing practice due to an illness (Week 3) and a quadriceps issue (Week 5). He was spotted running routes Thursday, but his activity level ultimately won't become known until the Commanders post their second Week 8 injury report.

  • Tyreek Hill WR | MIA

Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Back at practice Thursday

Hill (hip) was on the field for practice Thursday, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.

The wideout missed Wednesday's session, but his return to the field a day later is a positive indicator with regard to his chances of suiting up Sunday against the Patriots. The Dolphins will release their second Week 8 injury report later Thursday that will clarify the extent of Hill's participation, but during the portion of the workout that was open to the media, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network notes that the wideout ran routes, caught passes and did his usual high-intensity cutting during drills.

  • Robert Woods WR | PIT

Texans' Robert Woods: Misses another practice

Woods (foot) remained sidelined at practice Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

With Woods having missed two straight practices, Wilson indicates that, barring an unexpected change, the wideout is trending toward missing Sunday's game against the Panthers. If Woods is unavailable this weekend, Noah Brown, Nico Collins and Tank Dell would be in line to lead the Texans' receiver corps.

  • Jalen Reagor WR | MIA

Patriots' Jalen Reagor: Promoted to New England's roster

The Patriots signed Reagor off their practice squad Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Reagor caught his only target for 11 yards versus Buffalo in Week 7, playing 25 snaps on offense. Now that he'll get a more permanent spot on the 53-man roster, Reagor should settle into a regular depth role at receiver for New England. The 2020 first-round pick likely won't have much room to see his role expand while all of Kendrick Bourne, DeVante Parker, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Demario Douglas are available.

  • Mike Williams WR | LAC

Chargers' Mike Williams: On track for training camp

Williams underwent surgery Wednesday to repair the torn ACL in his left knee and is expected to be ready for the start of training camp next summer, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Williams will spend the rest of the 2023 season on injured reserve and isn't projected to be back to 100 percent for OTAs, but he should be ready to practice by the time camp beings. The Chargers will have a potential out from Williams' contract in the offseason, which would save the team roughly $20 million, with $7 million in dead cap money. As such, in addition to tackling his rehab, expect Williams to engage in contract discussions with his team next spring. With Williams sidelined, Joshua Palmer (knee) has stepped up as the next man up behind Keenan Allen, and rookie first-round pick Quentin Johnston's role should continue to expand in the second half of the season.

  • Chris Godwin WR | TB

Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Expected to take on Bills

Godwin (neck) is expected to play Thursday against Buffalo, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Godwin, who is officially listed as questionable for Thursday's road matchup, is expected to take the field at Buffalo. He should also have his usual quarterback available, as Baker Mayfield (knee) is also expected to play despite being listed as questionable. Godwin's status will be officially confirmed roughly 90 minutes before Thursday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff, when Tampa Bay will release its inactive list.

  • Seahawks' Dee Eskridge: Limited in practice

Eskridge (knee) was a limited participant in Seattle's practice Wednesday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Eskridge's six-game suspension was lifted Monday but the 26-year-old is now dealing with a knee injury. With Tyler Lockett (hamstring) also dealing with an injury, Seattle could be short-handed at receiver for Sunday's game versus the Browns.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Sits out practice Wednesday

Lockett (hamstring) was held out of Wednesday's practice, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

With DK Metcalf (ribs/hip) sidelined during this past Sunday's win over the Cardinals, Lockett didn't get much more run than normal (70 percent snap share) and also ranked third among Seahawks in receiving yards (38) behind rookies Jaxon Smith-Njigba (63) and Jake Bobo (61). The hamstring injury that contained Lockett to limited sessions last Wednesday and Thursday now is keeping him out of drills for a second straight practice dating back to Week 7 prep. As a result, his status will be one to watch closely in the coming days to get a sense of his potential to play Sunday against the Browns.

  • DK Metcalf WR | PIT

Seahawks' DK Metcalf: Logs full practice Wednesday

Metcalf (ribs/hip) practiced fully Wednesday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

When speaking to the media earlier Wednesday, head coach Pete Carroll told Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic that Metcalf was slated to be limited at practice. Upon the release of the Seahawks' first Week 8 injury report, however, Metcalf was apparently able to handle every on-field rep. After sitting out this past Sunday's win over the Cardinals due to a lingering rib injury and an even newer hip concern, Metcalf appears to be good to go ahead of Sunday's contest versus the Browns.

  • Broncos' Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Back to active roster

Humphrey was elevated to the Broncos' active roster Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of Denver's official website reports.

Humphrey will continue his trend of being elevated ahead of each of the Broncos' contests this year, joining the active roster for eighth consecutive contest. The wide receiver has caught four passes for 26 yards and a touchdown while playing 121 offensive snaps this season.
