Chris Olave WR | NO
Saints' Chris Olave: Not listed on injury report
Olave wasn't listed Wednesday on the Saints' first Week 8 injury report.
In the wake of Olave's arrest Monday for reckless operation of a motor vehicle, his standing with the Saints seemingly hasn't changed. Derek Carr told John DeShazier of the team's official site Wednesday that Olave was "great" at practice, and the quarterback is "excited to see what he does these last 10 games." Through the first seven weeks of the season, Olave has two 100-yard outings to his credit and has gathered in 39 of 68 targets for 471 yards and one touchdown. He'll aim to build upon that stat line Sunday against a Colts defense that has given up the 12th-most catches (89) to opposing wide receivers in seven games in 2023.

Zach Pascal WR | NYG
Cardinals' Zach Pascal: Returns to practice Wednesday
Pascal (neck) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Pascal returned to practice Wednesday after missing last week's loss to the Seahawks with a neck injury. The 28-year-old has caught four of his eight targets for 19 yards in six games this season and will look to make his return versus the Ravens on Sunday.

Ty Montgomery WR | NE
Patriots' Ty Montgomery: Tending to knee injury
Montgomery (knee) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.
It's not clear when Montgomery picked up the injury or how severe it might be at this point. Unless he can manage a full practice Thursday or Friday, he'll likely carry an injury designation into the weekend.
-
Kayshon Boutte WR | NE
Patriots' Kayshon Boutte: Back in action
Boutte (hamstring) was not listed on New England's injury report Wednesday.
Boutte has been inactive for the Patriots' last six games, but he's apparently back to full strength going into Week 8. He drew four targets in his only game up to this point in Week 1, but with New England's pecking order for targets now decently well-established, he may not even see that many come Sunday at Miami.

JuJu Smith-Schuster WR | NYG
Patriots' JuJu Smith-Schuster: Clears concussion protocol
Smith-Schuster (concussion) was not listed Wednesday on the Patriots' initial Week 8 injury report.
Smith-Schuster has missed the Patriots' last two games, but the wideout's removal from the injury report indicates he's cleared the NFL's five-step concussion protocol, setting the stage for him to rejoin the lineup Sunday against the Dolphins. In his looming return to action, Smith-Schuster's path to steady volume in the passing game could be muddled, with rookie Demario Douglas making a case to maintain a key role in the offense alongside fellow wideouts Kendrick Bourne and DeVante Parker. In five games to date, Smith-Schuster has logged 14 catches for 86 yards on 25 targets, production that has limited his fantasy utility to deeper formats.

Christian Watson WR | GB
Packers' Christian Watson: Full practice Wednesday
Watson (knee) logged a full practice Wednesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Watson came up favoring his right knee on the Packers' second-to-last offensive snap this past Sunday at Denver, but after a few days to rest up, the second-year wideout is good to go following an uncapped session. Because of injuries, he's been limited to just three appearances this season in which he's put together an 8-143-1 line on 16 targets and also rushed once for minus-5 yards.

Justin Watson WR | HOU
Chiefs' Justin Watson: Logs full practice
Watson (elbow) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com reports.
Watson thus appears ready to return to action for Sunday's game in Denver, though he'll likely be wearing a brace to protect his dislocated elbow. His presence mostly matters for fantasy as it relates to Rashee Rice's snap and route shares, as none of the other Kansas City wideouts have done much of note this season. Rice is coming off his best receiving line of the season in a Week 7 win over the Chargers, so he won't automatically lose playing time now that Watson is available again.
-
Josh Palmer WR | BUF
Chargers' Joshua Palmer: Misses practice with knee injury
Palmer missed practice Wednesday due to a knee injury, Jeff Miller of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Palmer didn't appear to be hindered by any injury Sunday, when he played 98 percent of the Chargers' offensive snaps and recorded a career-high 133 receiving yards in a 31-17 loss to Kansas City. He's seen either seven or eight targets in each of four games since Mike Williams (knee) suffered a season-ending ACL tear, with at least three catches and 60 yards in every contest. A return to practice Thursday would put Palmer on track to play in Sunday's game against the Bears, while another absence would hint at Quentin Johnston, Derius Davis and/or Simi Fehoko potentially taking on larger roles.
-
Xavier Hutchinson WR | HOU
Texans' Xavier Hutchinson: Tending to foot injury
Hutchinson (foot) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.
It's unclear at this point when Hutchinson sustained the injury or how severe it is. In any case, he'll likely have to manage a full practice Thursday or Friday to avoid an injury designation going into the weekend.
-
Jaylen Waddle WR | DEN
Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Deemed limited Wednesday
Waddle (back) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
Though Waddle was forced out of last Sunday's 31-17 loss to the Eagles with the back issue, he was able to return to the contest and finished with six catches for 63 yards on six targets. With a limited session to kick off Week 8 prep, Waddle's status is now worth monitoring ahead of Sunday's game against the Patriots. The same can be said about fellow wideout Tyreek Hill, who missed practice Wednesday due to a hip issue.
