  • Tyreek Hill WR | MIA

Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Dealing with hip injury

Hill was held out of Wednesday's practice with a hip injury, Hal Habib of The Palm Beach Post reports.

Hill briefly went to the blue medical tent during Sunday's 31-17 loss to the Eagles, but he returned to the field in short order en route to finishing with an 11-88-1 receiving line on 15 targets. The Dolphins have been cautious with veterans at Wednesday practices this season, so Thursday's injury report should provide a better clue as to whether Hill is actually in danger of missing Sunday's matchup with the Patriots.

  • Chris Godwin WR | TB

Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Status in question for Thursday

Godwin (neck) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game at Buffalo, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

Godwin showed up on the Buccaneers' first Week 8 practice report as a non-participant due to a neck injury, but he was listed as a limited participant for Tuesday's walk-through session and then a full participant at Wednesday's practice. Quarterback Baker Mayfield (knee) followed the same practice regimen and is listed as questionable, but both players are seemingly trending toward being available on a short week. Expect Godwin's availability to be confirmed when Tampa Bay releases its inactive list about 90 minutes before Thursday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Robert Woods WR | PIT

Texans' Robert Woods: Nursing foot injury after bye week

Woods didn't practice Wednesday due to a foot injury.

Coming off a Week 7 bye, Woods' absence from Wednesday's practice makes his status for Sunday's game against the Panthers worth tracking. If the veteran wideout ends up sitting out this weekend, Tank Dell -- who cleared the concussion protocol and is ready to return from a one-game absence -- would be in line to step right back into a key role in Houston's Week 8 passing attack alongside Nico Collins and Noah Brown.

  • Tank Dell WR | HOU

Texans' Tank Dell: Ready for Week 8

Dell was a full practice participant Wednesday and has cleared the concussion protocol, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

The rookie missed a Week 6 win over the Saints and now is back in action after a Week 7 bye. Meanwhile, Robert Woods (foot) was held out of Wednesday's practice, though the Texans haven't indicated his injury is serious. Woods' status could have a significant impact on Dell's role this Sunday at Carolina, especially if the Texans still want depth receivers like Noah Brown, John Metchie and Xavier Hutchinson (foot) to get some playing time. Dell and Nico Collins have been the most productive of the bunch, with Woods producing just 5.3 yards per carry and the ancillary wideouts not seeing many targets even when they play a decent amount.

  • Chris Moore WR | WAS

Titans' Chris Moore: No limitations in practice

Moore (concussion) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports that Moore is still in concussion protocol after a bye week, though full participation Wednesday suggests he has good odds to be cleared Thursday or Friday. Treylon Burks' impending return from a knee injury combined with quarterback Ryan Tannehill's expected absence for this Sunday's game against the Falcons leaves Moore with an uncertain role and minimal fantasy appeal in Week 8.

  • Curtis Samuel WR | BUF

Commanders' Curtis Samuel: Tending to foot issue

Samuel was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice due to a foot injury.

Samuel is no stranger to lower-body issues, as he's already tended to hip and quadricep concerns this season. He's been listed as a non-participant on Commanders practice reports just two times prior to Wednesday's absence, but he hasn't missed any game action en route to a 31-310-2 receiving line on 39 targets to go with four carries for 20 yards and another score while logging a weekly snap shares between 57 and 75 percent. Samuel will have two more chances to practice this week before the team potentially tags him with a designation for Sunday's contest against the Eagles.

  • Treylon Burks WR | WAS

Titans' Treylon Burks: Full participant in practice return

Burks (knee) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Burks is thus set to rejoin the lineup after three missed games before the Titans went on bye Week 7. He won't have the best situation to put up numbers even if he faces no restrictions with his snap count, as Ryan Tannehill (ankle) appears set to miss at least Sunday's game. Head coach Mike Vrabel said Wednesday that both Will Levis and Malik Willis should take snaps at quarterback this Sunday against the Falcons, which could prompt the Titans to lean even more heavily than usual on the ground game.

  • Zay Jones WR | ARI

Jaguars' Zay Jones: Misses another practice

    Jones (knee) didn't practice Wednesday.

Jones, who last suited up Week 5, still has two chances to return to practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Steelers, but the wideout's continued absence Wednesday indicates that his Week 8 status is cloudy. If Jones remains sidelined this weekend, fellow wideouts Jamal Agnew and Tim Jones would be in line to see added work behind behind Calvin Ridley and Christian Kirk.

  • Panthers' Laviska Shenault: Misses Wednesday's practice

Shenault (ankle) did not participate at practice Wednesday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

Even with the benefit of a Week 7 bye, Shenault is still tending to the high ankle sprain he sustained in Week 6 at Miami. Unless he can get back to practice Thursday or Friday, it's not likely he'll play Sunday versus Houston.

  • DK Metcalf WR | PIT

Seahawks' DK Metcalf: Remains limited at practice

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Metcalf (ribs/hip) will practice in a limited capacity Wednesday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

Prior to sitting out the first game of his career in this past Sunday's win over Arizona, Metcalf managed just one capped session Friday due to a rib injury that's lingered since Week 2 and a hip issue that he sustained Week 6. His ability to practice in some capacity to kick off Week 8 prep is a step in the right direction, but he likely will need to log all on-field reps Thursday and/or Friday to avoid a designation ahead of Sunday's contest against the Browns. Another absence from Metcalf would result in elevated roles for Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Jake Bobo alongside Tyler Lockett.
