Eagles tight end James Casey left Thursday's preseason finale with a hamstring injury. Casey suffered the injury in the first half of the game and did not return. The Eagles will travel to Washington for Week 1 on Sept. 9.

Among the injured Jaguars not playing Thursday night are linebacker Russell Allen (ankle), quarterback Blaine Gabbert (thumb), tight end Marcedes Lewis (calf), defensive back Chris Prosinski (concussion) and running back Justin Forsett (toe).

Lions tight end Joseph Fauria, an undrafted rookie out of UCLA, has a terrific shot to make the team, according to the team's website. The 6-7, 255-pounder caught 12 touchdown passes for the Bruins last season and has shown he might be a red-zone weapon for Detroit.

Fauria had three catches for 44 yards in last week's win over the Patriots, including a 22-yard touchdown in the third quarter. He said going undrafted might have been the best thing for him.

"I used what happened as fuel and I’m never going to lose that ever for the rest of my career," he said. "It made me work harder. It might have been a blessing in disguise."

The Cardinals released two players Tuesday. They were tight end Mickey Shuler and safety Javon Harris.

Colts tight ends Coby Fleener and Dwayne Allen, who both missed the third preseason game, should be fine for the regular-season opener against Oakland, coach Chuck Pagano said. Fleener sprained his knee in the second preseason game, while Allen dealt with a foot injury earlier in camp.

Rams tight end Cory Harkey, who is listed as third on the depth chart, has a slight fracture in his lower leg and is expected to miss a month of action, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Harkey suffered the injury during Saturday's preseason game against the Broncos.

Chiefs tight end Tony Moeaki fractured his shoulder in Saturday's preseason game against the Steelers, coach Andy Reid said. Moeaki, who caught 80 balls over the past two seasons, could be placed on injured reserve.

Texans tight end Garrett Graham continued his strong preseason Sunday against the Saints, catching three of four targets for 27 yards. Owen Daniels' backup has 12 catches for 130 yards and a touchdown in the preseason.

Graham appeared in 15 games last season, catching 28 balls for 263 yards and three scores.

Rams tight end Cory Harkey, who sometimes plays with the first team in a blocking role when Lance Kendricks is sidelined, suffered an injury Saturday against Denver, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. 

The injury is not determined at this time. Harkey is not an offensive weapon for the Rams. 

The Jaguars have listed their injuries for Saturday's game against the Eagles.

The players who are not expected to play include: quarterback Blaine Gabbert (thumb), running back Justin Forsett (toe) and tight end Marcedes Lewis (calf). Kevin Rutland and Jeremy Harris are also out.
