Jahmyr Gibbs RB | DET
Lions' Jahmyr Gibbs: No concerns for Week 1
Coach Dan Campbell said Monday that Gibbs (hamstring) is not a player whose injury status is a concern for Sunday's regular-season opener against the Rams, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Campbell named Ifeatu Melifonwu (undisclosed) as the only player the Lions are significantly concerned about for Week 1, meaning both Gibbs and standout TE Sam LaPorta (hamstring) should be good for the season opener. Both Gibbs and LaPorta resumed practicing last week after missing much of training camp due to hamstring injuries. While it doesn't sound like Gibbs is in any real danger of missing Week 1, it's still possible that Detroit could opt to lean on backfield mate David Montgomery a bit more until the hamstring issue is further in the rearview.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire RB | KC
Chiefs' Clyde Edwards-Helaire: Missing at least four games
The Chiefs are slated to place Edwards-Helaire (illness) on the reserve/non-football illness list Monday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Edwards-Helaire regularly missed practices during training camp, and he also revealed in July that he deals with post-traumatic stress disorder. His placement on the NFI list will rule him out for at least the first four games of the season and position Samaje Perine for a key backup role behind starting running back Isiah Pacheco. Meanwhile, UDFA Carson Steele bumps up into the No. 3 spot.

MarShawn Lloyd RB | GB
Packers' MarShawn Lloyd: Practices in limited fashion Sunday
Lloyd (hamstring) was limited during Sunday's practice, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Though Lloyd practiced for the first time since he injured his hamstring during the Packers' preseason opener Aug. 10, the rookie running back's activity was capped in his return. Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur indicated after the session that the team will be "smart" with Lloyd as he works his way back from the injury. It's not yet clear if Lloyd will be available for the Packers' Week 1 contest in Brazil against Philadelphia on Friday.

MarShawn Lloyd RB | GB
Packers' MarShawn Lloyd: Returns to practice Sunday
Lloyd (hamstring) participated in practice Sunday, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Sunday marked the first time Lloyd has suited up for practice since he injured his hamstring in Green Bay's preseason opener against Cleveland on Aug. 10. It appears the rookie running back has a good chance of being available for the Packers' regular-season opener in Brazil against the Eagles on Friday after it initially seemed like he could be destined to begin the campaign on injured reserve. Lloyd's presence in the Packers backfield could be especially important with AJ Dillon (neck) on season-ending IR.

Samaje Perine RB | CIN
Chiefs' Samaje Perine: Will suit up Week 1
Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Sunday that Perine will be available for the team's regular-season opener versus Baltimore on Thursday, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com reports.
Perine didn't sign with the Chiefs until this past Wednesday, but that won't prevent him from being able to play in Kansas City's first game of the campaign. The veteran running back may not be fully up to speed on the playbook and thus could be held to limited work, and even when he's fully familiar with the team's system it's not clear how much work he'll log behind starting running back Isiah Pacheco. In addition to Perine, Kansas City's backup RBs include Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) and intriguing rookie Carson Steele.

Emani Bailey RB | CAR
Emani Bailey: Returns to KC's practice squad
The Chiefs signed Bailey to their practice squad Saturday, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com reports.
It was a roller-coaster week for Bailey -- he was waived by Kansas City on Tuesday, signed to the practice squad Wednesday, cut Friday and then re-signed to the practice squad Saturday. The Chiefs also signed defensive lineman Marlon Tuipulotu to their practice squad Saturday while cutting defensive linemen Matt Dickerson and Neil Farrell.

Nate McCrary RB | GB
Nate McCrary: Moved to practice-squad IR
The Packers placed McCrary (undisclosed) on their practice squad injured list Friday.
It's unclear what type of issue McCrary is dealing with, but he now isn't eligible to be moved up to the active NFL roster for the first four games of the regular season. McCrary has logged just one NFL snap, which took place when he was with the Ravens in 2021.

La'Mical Perine RB | PIT
La'Mical Perine: Joins Packers' practice squad
Perine signed to Green Bay's practice squad Friday.
Perine signed a contract with Pittsburgh in May and rushed 16 times for 46 yards and a touchdown in the preseason, adding one reception for four yards. He was released Tuesday and will now have a chance to earn his way back to the NFL roster with the Packers' practice squad. Perine played in five regular-season games with Kansas City last year, rushing 22 times for 77 yards while catching three of five targets for 33 yards.

Andrew Beck TE | NYJ
Andrew Beck: Signs to Green Bay's practice squad
The Packers signed Beck to their practice squad Friday.
Beck spent training camp with Houston but battled a calf injury and was released Tuesday. As a member of Green Bay's practice squad, he carries extensive NFL experience, logging action in 66 career regular-season games with Denver and Houston. Beck has served primarily as a blocker in the running game and has just eight career carries, though he's also tallied 25 catches for 214 yards and three receiving touchdowns.

Emani Bailey RB | CAR
Emani Bailey: Let go from practice squad
The Chiefs cut Bailey from their practice squad Friday.
Bailey was unable to make the Chiefs' 53-man roster, losing out to Carson Steele for the No. 4 running back job. Bailey rushed for 29 yards on 10 carries and caught one pass for four yards across the Chiefs' three preseason games. He was signed to the practice squad Wednesday, but he will be let go to make room for quarterback Bailey Zappe on the practice squad.
