Boston Scott RB | PIT
Eagles' Boston Scott: Scores first TD of season
Scott carried the ball seven times for 24 yards and a touchdown and caught one of two targets for five yards in Sunday's 33-22 loss to the Raiders.
Miles Sanders left the game late in the first quarter with an ankle injury, and Scott split the backfield workload roughly equally with Kenneth Gainwell for the rest of the afternoon, with the rookie's nine touches topping Scott by one. Both backs also found the end zone -- Scott on the ground for his first TD of the year, Gainwell through the air -- and if Sanders is sidelined for a Week 8 road clash against the Lions, the duo could well operate in a timeshare again despite the fact Scott came into this game with only two receptions and zero carries through the first six weeks.

Kenneth Gainwell RB | TB
Eagles' Kenneth Gainwell: Finds end zone in loss
Gainwell carried the ball five times for 20 yards and caught four of eight targets for 41 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 33-22 loss to the Raiders.

Ronald Jones RB | DAL
Buccaneers' Ronald Jones: Busier than usual in Week 7 win
Jones rushed 10 times for 63 yards in the Buccaneers' 38-3 win over the Bears on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.
Jones logged just five fewer carries than backfield mate Leonard Fournette, but when factoring in that even the seldom-used Ke'Shawn Vaughn got five totes himself, it becomes clear the extra workload was a product of game script. The Buccaneers had a 35-3 lead by halftime, so the ground attack took center stage during the second half and led to Jones seeing his heaviest rushing workload of the season by far. That led to a season-high yardage tally as well, but Jones could well be back to serving as the clear backup to Fournette in a Week 8 road clash against the Saints.

Jamaal Williams RB | NO
Lions' Jamaal Williams: Takes 12 carries
Williams ran for 57 yards on 12 carries against the Rams on Sunday.
Williams saw zero targets in the receiving game, which is a concerning sign on a day that D'Andre Swift drew 10 targets. The Lions have shown a more specific intention to feed targets to Swift after Williams drew nine targets Week 1. Williams has seen eight targets in the six games since. Double-digit carries are on the table for Williams every week, but it's increasingly appearing as if he needs to make his carries count -- probably with a touchdown or two -- to provide much fantasy value in a given game.

Michael Carter RB | TEN
Jets' Michael Carter: Tops 100 scrimmage yards in loss
Carter rushed 11 times for 37 yards and caught eight of nine targets for 67 yards in Sunday's 54-13 loss to the Patriots. He also lost a fumble.
Carter led the Jets in both rushing and receiving yards, but the strong effort was marred by the first fumble of the rookie's career. Backup quarterback Mike White checked down to Carter frequently after starter Zach Wilson left with a knee injury. If White remains under center, Carter likely would continue to play an outsize role in the passing game against the Bengals in Week 8 in addition to working as the top rushing option in the low-scoring Jets offense.

Brandon Bolden RB | LV
Patriots' Brandon Bolden: Leading receiver in blowout win
Bolden (thigh) rushed twice for no gain and caught six of seven targets for 79 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 54-13 win over the Jets.
Bolden didn't score any of New England's four rushing touchdowns, but he led the team in catches and receiving yards while tying Jakobi Meyers for the lead in targets. He's filling the receiving back role vacated by James White's season-ending hip injury, while Damien Harris continues to get the lion's share of opportunities on the ground. Bolden could see plenty of targets in the Patriots' dink and dunk passing game against the Chargers in Week 8, especially if New England falls behind on the road.

Josh Jacobs RB | GB
Raiders' Josh Jacobs: Avoids major injury
Jacobs (chest) likely avoided a serious injury in Sunday's game against the Eagles, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The Raiders have a well-timed Week 8 bye, which will give the banged-up Jacobs extra time to heal up after he exited Sunday's 33-22 win early. Jacobs battled toe and ankle injuries early in the season, but he has gotten on a roll lately and extended his touchdown streak to three games prior to hurting his chest against Philly.

Damien Williams RB | ARI
Bears' Damien Williams: Posts eight yards in return
Williams rushed three times for five yards and caught one pass for three yards in the Bears' 38-3 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
In his return to action after being activated from the COVID-19 list the day before the game, Williams took a backseat to lead back Khalil Herbert. After posting a pair of performances with at least 70 yards before missing the Week 6 game, it's very likely that Williams has been passed on the depth chart by Herbert, and with David Montgomery (knee) on the mend, Williams may see his touch total squeezed significantly in the near future.

Darrel Williams RB | NO
Chiefs' Darrel Williams: Held to 50 total yards
Williams carried the ball five times for 20 yards in Sunday's 27-3 loss to the Titans. He added three receptions for 30 yards.
Kansas City fell behind 27-0 before halftime, which limited Williams to only five carries. He wasn't particularly efficient even given the opportunity, with his longest rush of the day going for 11 yards. Williams did add to his production as a receiver, matching his season high in receptions and posting his best game from a yards perspective. Though the Chiefs' offense hasn't excelled as expected of late, Williams should have a strong chance to bounce back in Week 8 against the Giants.

Chuba Hubbard RB | CAR
Panthers' Chuba Hubbard: Held to 56 total yards
Hubbard carried the ball 12 times for 28 yards in Sunday's 25-3 loss to the Giants. He added four receptions for 28 yards.
Hubbard accounted for 12 of the team's 17 rushing attempts but was unable to get going on the ground. He managed a rush of 13 yards but was often stuffed at the line of scrimmage otherwise. Hubbard did manage to supplement his production with four receptions, his second-highest mark of the season. Despite serving as the team's top back, Hubbard has now managed only 121 yards across 33 total touches in the last two games. Given the Panthers' offensive struggles as a whole, Hubbard may find it difficult to work efficiently in upcoming matchups.
