Scott carried the ball seven times for 24 yards and a touchdown and caught one of two targets for five yards in Sunday's 33-22 loss to the Raiders.
Miles Sanders left the game late in the first quarter with an ankle injury, and Scott split the backfield workload roughly equally with Kenneth Gainwell for the rest of the afternoon, with the rookie's nine touches topping Scott by one. Both backs also found the end zone -- Scott on the ground for his first TD of the year, Gainwell through the air -- and if Sanders is sidelined for a Week 8 road clash against the Lions, the duo could well operate in a timeshare again despite the fact Scott came into this game with only two receptions and zero carries through the first six weeks.
