The Rays traded Rock to the White Sox on Tuesday in exchange for Oliver Dunn.

Rock has spent the entire season with the Rays' Triple-A affiliate, posting a 4.80 ERA and 1.93 WHIP alongside a 27:17 K:BB through 15 innings. He'll report to Triple-A Charlotte to begin his time in the White Sox organization, but the fact that he owns a spot on the 40-man roster will help his chances of returning to the majors later in the year when the Sox need fresh bullpen depth. Kyle Teel (knee) was transferred to the 60-day injured list in a corresponding move.

Soto went 2-for-4 with a solo home run during the Mets' 9-6 loss to the Nationals on Tuesday.

Most of Tuesday's scoring took place within the first four innings, but Soto added to the Mets' run total with a solo homer off Brad Lord in the seventh, Soto's seventh home run of the season. Soto has recorded two hits in five of his last eight games, and over that span he has gone 12-for-32 (.375) with three steals, three home runs, seven RBI and nine runs scored.

Bichette went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI during the Mets' 9-6 loss to the Nationals on Tuesday.

Bichette entered the series with just two home runs through 46 regular-season games. He went deep in Monday's extra-inning win and added two more home runs in Tuesday's high-scoring affair, both of which brought Carson Benge home. Bichette is slashing .224/.277/.332 with one steal, 25 RBI and 23 runs scored over 213 plate appearances this season.

Wood went 3-for-4 with a grand slam and an additional run scored during the Nationals' 9-6 win over the Mets on Tuesday.

With the bases loaded in the second inning, Wood drove a ball deep to left-center field that barely glanced off the mitt of a leaping Nick Morabito. The ball trickled out to center field, and that was enough for Wood to hustle around the bases for the first grand slam of his major-league career, albeit in an unconventional matter. Wood has logged three hits in back-to-back games and is up to 13 home runs on the season, which leads the Nationals and is tied with Drake Baldwin (oblique) and Jordan Walker for the third-best total in the National League.

Bradish (2-6) took the loss against the Rays on Tuesday, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks while striking out six across 5.1 innings.

Yandy Diaz (hand) had Bradish's number in Tuesday's contest, with the former smacking an RBI double and a solo homer in the first and sixth innings, respectively. Those ended up being the only runs Bradish gave up, but unfortunately for the right-hander, he didn't receive enough run support from his teammates to avoid the loss. He's taken the loss in four of his last five starts and sits at a 4.13 ERA and 1.51 WHIP across 52.1 innings. His next start is tentatively slated for next week at home in a rematch against Tampa Bay.

Ward went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during the Orioles' 4-1 loss to the Rays on Tuesday.

Ward wasted no time getting the Orioles on the board, taking the second pitch he saw from Griffin Jax deep to left field for a leadoff home run. However, that ended up being the only run scored by Baltimore. It was Ward's second home run of the season, a far cry from the 36 homers he recorded with the Angels in 2025. However, his .788 OPS this season (215 plate appearances) is only a few ticks lower than last year (.792 OPS across 663 plate appearances).

Diaz was removed from Tuesday's game against the Orioles after getting hit on the hand by a pitch, Ryan Bass of Rays.tv reports.

Diaz went 2-for-3 with a homer and an RBI double before taking a 94-mph fastball off his hand in the eighth inning, forcing him out of the game. He'll likely be sent in for X-rays to determine whether he suffered a fracture, and the Rays should offer an update on his status in the near future. Ryan Vilade could be in line to pick up a start at first base or DH if Diaz is unable to play Wednesday.

Baker earned the save in Tuesday's 4-1 win over Baltimore, striking out one batter in a scoreless ninth inning.

Baker needed just 10 pitches (eight strikes) to close out Tuesday's game and capped things off by getting Pete Alonso to strike out swinging. It was the 13th save of the season for Baker (in 16 attempts), tied for third most in the majors behind Mason Miller and Cade Smith (15 each). Baker sports a 2.66 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 24:8 K:BB across 20.1 innings this season.

Jax did not factor into Tuesday's decision against the Orioles, allowing one run on three hits and one walk while striking out six across five innings.

Jax yielded a leadoff homer to Taylor Ward, but the former kept the Orioles off the board the rest of the way. Jax completed five innings Wednesday for a second consecutive outing, needing just 62 pitches (41 strikes) to do so. He has a 1.93 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 10:6 K:BB across 14 innings in three starts since being moved to the Rays' rotation in early May. Griffin's next start is tentatively slated for next week on the road in a rematch against Baltimore.

Greene went 2-for-2 with a walk and two runs scored in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Guardians.

Greene continued his torrid offensive pace with another multi-hit effort, which was his seventh over his last 12 games. The talented 25-year-old is third in the majors with a .335 batting average and his .433 on-base percentage is the best in baseball. About the only blemish on Greene's ledger right now is his lack of power with only four home runs, but he's otherwise been a force for the Tigers.
