Stowers is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's tilt versus Atlanta.

The left-handed-hitting Stowers was in the lineup versus southpaw Martin Perez on Tuesday, but he will take a seat Wednesday as Atlanta sends lefty ace Chris Sale to the hill. Heriberto Hernandez will net a start in left field for the Marlins.

Jones is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.

Jones is just 3-for-20 with 11 strikeouts early on in his first stint in the big leagues, and he's now started only two of the last five contests. Ben Rice is getting a start at designated hitter Wednesday, and Paul Goldschmidt will cover first base for the Bronx Bombers.

Pasquantino is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Red Sox.

After starting and going 0-for-3 with a walk in Tuesday's 7-1 loss while southpaw Ranger Suarez took the bump for Boston, the left-handed-hitting Pasquantino will move to the bench for the series finale. Salvador Perez will fill in for Pasquantino at first base as the Red Sox send another southpaw (Connelly Early) to the bump.

Winn (knee) will start at shortstop and bat sixth in Wednesday's contest against the Pirates.

Winn had to sit out Tuesday's contest with a left knee injury, but he's feeling well enough to give it a go in the second game of the series after an MRI came back negative. The Gold Glove shortstop enters play Tuesday having slashed just .230/.298/.297 across his last 20 tilts.

Pages is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pirates.

He'll take a seat to open up a turn behind the plate for Ivan Herrera, who typically serves as the personal catcher for Wednesday's starting pitcher, Michael McGreevy. Pages had started at catcher in three of the Cardinals' previous four tilts.

Kim is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Marlins.

Mauricio Dubon will draw the start at shortstop while Kim heads to the bench for the second time since being activated from the 10-day injured list May 11. Through his first seven games with Atlanta, Kim has gone 2-for-23 (.087 average) with a 3:5 BB:K, two runs and one RBI.

Perez is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Guardians.

Perez will begin the contest on the bench after starting each of the last four games. Zach McKinstry will draw the start in right field for the Tigers.

Torkelson is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Guardians.

Torkelson homered in Tuesday's loss to Cleveland, but he's struggled in May with a .136/.235/.288 batting line and 42.6 percent strikeout rate. Colt Keith will cover first base for the Tigers while Torkelson regroups.

Young (rib) will start in center field and bat seventh in Wednesday's game against the Mets.

Young left Monday's game against the Mets after being hit by a pitch in the ribs and did not play in Tuesday's contest. He escaped with merely a contusion, however, and is back in there after taking one day to recuperate.

Garcia is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mets, Mark Zuckerman of NatsJournal.com reports.

Andres Chaparro will get the nod at first base while the left-handed-hitting Garcia takes a seat against Mets southpaw Zach Thornton. Garcia had started in each of the Nationals' last six games, going 4-for-22 with two doubles and two walks over that stretch.
