Collins is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Yankees.

The Royals will go with Lane Thomas in left field while Collins rests after a stretch of five consecutive starts. After an excellent rookie campaign with Milwaukee in 2025, Collins has taken a step back at the dish during his first season in Kansas City, slashing .218/.335/.320 with three home runs and three steals across 176 plate appearances.

McMahon is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Royals.

Left-hander Bailey Falter is opening the game on the mound for the Royals, so the left-handed-hitting McMahon will begin the contest on the bench. He could end up subbing in for Amed Rosario -- who will start at third base -- at some point during Tuesday's game once Falter exits.

Caballero is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Royals.

Following his return from the injured list Friday, Caballero started in each of the Yankees' ensuing three games, going 3-for-11 with an RBI. The Yankees are likely to continue deploying Caballero as their primary shortstop, but he'll hit the bench Tuesday while manager Aaron Boone opens up the position for Anthony Volpe.

Kreidler is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox.

Kreidler will hit the bench following a stretch of five consecutive starts -- one in center field, four at shortstop -- during which he went 5-for-18 with a home run, a double and four RBI. Though the Twins plan to move Brooks Lee to third base on a full-time basis, Kreidler won't necessarily be in line for regular reps at shortstop. Tristan Gray was reinstated from the paternity list Monday and could end up filling the strong side of a platoon at shortstop with Kreidler. The Twins will go with Gray at shortstop Tuesday while right-hander Sean Burke toes the rubber for the White Sox.

Boyd (knee) will make a rehab start with Triple-A Iowa on Sunday, Bruce Levine of 670TheScore.com reports.

The veteran southpaw is ready to return to a competitive setting a little over three weeks after undergoing a menisectomy on his left knee. Boyd did not need a full repair of his meniscus, and with his assignment to Iowa for his first rehab outing, it seems possible that he will beat his initial six-week estimated return timetable. This is Boyd's second IL stint already this season, as he spent time on the shelf in April with a biceps strain.

Slater signed a minor-league contract with the Rays on Tuesday, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.

Slater elected free agency Sunday after being DFA'd by the Mets, and he'll now have a chance to redeem himself in the Rays organization. The 33-year-old outfielder has slashed just .209/.286/.233 through 49 plate appearances in the majors this season, so he will likely need to show improvement at Triple-A Durham before the Rays give him another look in the big leagues.

Bell is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox.

Bell will get a breather after he had started in each of Minnesota's last seven games while going 7-for-26 (.269 average) with two home runs, three walks, five RBI and three runs. With Bell taking a seat, Byron Buxton will get a night off from playing the outfield but will stick in the lineup at designated hitter.

Betts is batting cleanup and starting at shortstop Tuesday versus the Rockies.

Betts has struggled since his return from an oblique strain with a .494 OPS across 12 games since May 11. The 33-year-old hasn't quite looked like himself since 2025 after he missed games at the beginning of that season due to an illness. As his issues at the plate have continued into 2026, the Dodgers seem to be trying to shake things up with the batting order. Andy Pages has the shortstop's typical spot in the two hole.

Muncy (wrist) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rockies.

As expected, Muncy will miss a fourth consecutive start after being hit on the wrist by a pitch Friday. Manager Dave Roberts said Monday that he was hoping to have Muncy back in action Wednesday, per Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic, though the team is also not ruling out the possibility of an IL stint if Muncy is still limited in the coming days.

Gilbert is not in the lineup Tuesday versus the Diamondbacks.

The Diamondbacks are sending southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez to the mound, so the left-handed hitting Gilbert will take a seat. The Giants have Jesus Rodriguez, Harrison Bader and Victor Bericoto manning their outfield Tuesday.
