The Mets optioned Myers to Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday.

The right-hander continues to be shuttled between Triple-A and the majors, with Sunday's transaction being the fourth time he's been optioned this season and the third time in the past two weeks. Myers had a strong start to the year with a 3.25 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 22:5 K:BB across his first 15 outings, but he's now surrendered 22 runs in his past 11 appearances (10.80 ERA).

Narvaez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets.

Narvaez will hit the bench for the second time in the series while Connor Wong gets the nod behind the dish. Since the start of June, Narvaez is slashing just .111/.160/.133, and that lack of offensive production could put him at risk of falling out of a timeshare with Wong and moving into a clear No. 2 role.

Yoshida is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets.

Yoshida has gone 7-for-17 with a home run, two doubles and two walks while starting four straight matchups against righties, but he'll move to the bench Sunday while the Mets send southpaw Zach Thornton to the bump. Jarren Duran will fill in for Yoshida as Boston's designated hitter, batting seventh.

The Mets recalled Thornton from Triple-A Syracuse ahead of his start against the Red Sox on Sunday.

The left-hander went back to Syracuse after delivering a quality start against the Phillies on June 26, and he'll rejoin the Mets to start the final game before the All-Star break. In addition to that outing, Thornton made one previous start in the majors this season, giving up four runs across 4.1 innings at Washington on May 20.

Friedl is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs.

The Reds will keep Friedl on the bench for the second time in the series against another southpaw in Matthew Boyd. Spencer Steer will step in for Friedl in center field and bat third.

The Marlins placed Kempner on the 15-day injured list Sunday due to a right elbow sprain.

Kempner was called upon to pitch Thursday against Seattle and Saturday versus Cleveland and struggled in both games, allowing four runs on five hits with three strikeouts and two walks over 2.1 innings. He'll now be sidelined until at least July 27.

Conforto is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.

The left-handed slugger will head to the bench for the third time in four games, with all three of his absences coming against left-handed pitching. Conforto will give up his spot in the lineup to Kevin Alcantara, who will bat ninth as the DH.

The Marlins recalled Fulton from Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday.

The left-hander was sent to Jacksonville in late June but will get another look in the big-league bullpen after William Kempner (elbow) was placed on the injured list. Fulton has pitched well in his three MLB appearances, allowing two earned runs with a 6:3 K:BB across seven innings. He could be called upon to cover multiple innings out of the bullpen Sunday, as starter Tyler Phillips will be taking the hill on three days' rest and is expected to operate with a more limited pitch count than usual.

Wilson went 2-for-4 with a triple in Saturday's loss to the White Sox.

Wilson accounted for half of his club's four hits, including his first triple of the campaign, as the Athletics' losing streak reached eight games. After going hitless in his first two games back from the injured list, the shortstop has recorded two hits in each of the past three contests. Overall, the 24-year-old is slashing .282/.315/.391 with four homers, 26 RBI, 24 runs and two stolen bases across 55 games in 2026.

Rincones is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

The left-handed hitter will hit the bench for the series finale while the Tigers send southpaw Tarik Skubal to the hill. Edmundo Sosa will take Rincones' spot in the outfield, covering left while batting fifth.
