Alvarez went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, two RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Tuesday's 9-2 win over the Red Sox.

Alvarez has now homered in back-to-back games after taking Brayan Bello deep in the fifth inning. He previously drove home Jeremy Pena with an RBI double in the first inning against Bello. Coming off an injury-plagued 2025 season, Alvarez looks back to his normal self in the early going this season, slashing .381/.536/.905 with three home runs, six RBI, six runs scored and a 6:4 BB:K across 28 plate appearances.

Brown (1-0) earned the win against the Red Sox on Tuesday, allowing one run on one hit and two walks while striking out eight across six innings.

After throwing 102 pitches across 4.2 innings Thursday against the Angels, Brown made quick work of the Boston lineup Tuesday and was pulled after 78 pitches with a 6-1 lead. Brown looks like he's ready to take another step forward in his fourth full season at the big-league level. Through two starts and 10.2 innings, Brown has 17 strikeouts and a 0.84 ERA. Brown is next scheduled to take the mound Monday against the Rockies at Coors Field.

X-rays on DeLauter's left foot came back negative after his removal from Tuesday's game against the Dodgers, Paul Hoynes of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

DeLauter had to leave Tuesday's contest after fouling a ball off his foot in the first inning, but he appears to have escaped the incident with nothing more than a bruise. The Guardians may leave the rookie outfielder out of the starting nine for a day or two as a precaution, but a trip to the injured list likely won't be necessary. Angel Martinez and Daniel Schneemann would be next in line to start in the outfield should DeLauter miss time.

Taillon did not factor into the decision Tuesday against the Angels. He pitched 4.2 shutout innings, allowing two hits and four walks while striking out three.

Making his first start of the season, Taillon threw 85 pitches and uncharacteristically struggled with walks after walking just 1.9 batters per nine innings during the 2025 campaign. Taillon's fastball velocity was also down at 90.8 mph after he averaged 92.3 mph last season. Taillon's next start is lined up for Monday in Tampa Bay.

Romano earned the save in Tuesday's 2-0 win over the Cubs, logging a strikeout and a walk in two-thirds of an inning.

Romano could start running away with the Angels' closer gig if he keeps this up while Kirby Yates (knee) and Robert Stephenson (elbow) are on the shelf. Romano had a nightmare 2025 campaign with the Phillies, registering an 8.23 ERA across 49 regular-season appearances before he inked a one-year deal with the Angels over the winter. He's now thrown 2.2 scoreless innings with four strikeouts across three appearances this season, going 2-for-2 in save chances. Romano should be added where available in fantasy.

Soriano (2-0) picked up the win against the Cubs on Tuesday. He pitched six shutout innings, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out four.

On a windy, chilly night at Wrigley Field, Soriano breezed through the Chicago lineup to pick up his second win in as many starts to begin the 2026 campaign. Soriano has looked great through two starts, tossing 12 combined shutout innings against the Astros and Cubs, surrendering a total of four hits and six walks. The walks are still an issue for the right-hander, but he's done a great job of mixing his five pitches. Soriano is scheduled to take the mound again Monday at home against Atlanta.

Maton (0-1) allowed two runs on two hits while retiring two batters in relief to take the loss Tuesday against the Angels. He walked two and struck out one.

Maton struggled in the sixth inning and ended up taking his first loss with his new team in a 2-0 defeat. The veteran righty looked much sharper across two scoreless appearances to start the season, and after he posted a 2.79 ERA in 61.1 innings for the Cardinals and Rangers last year, there's no reason to believe this will be anything more than a blip on the radar. Maton should continue to serve as a key setup option in front of closer Daniel Palencia.

Brown tossed 3.1 scoreless innings of relief in Tuesday's 2-0 loss to the Angels. He allowed a hit and a walk while striking out five.

Brown finished up the game for the Cubs, and he did enough to keep his team in the contest late but couldn't get any run support to potentially earn his first win of the year. The righty reliever has now covered exactly 3.1 innings in both of his two relief outings so far this season, and he's allowed two runs while striking out eight. Brown can rack up strikeouts in a hurry, which would make him someone worth keeping an eye on if he were to slide into Chicago's rotation. For now, he's mostly off the fantasy radar as a long reliever.

Senga (0-1) took the loss against the Cardinals on Tuesday, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks while striking out nine across six innings.

Senga's stuff looked good, and his increased fastball velocity carried over from the spring. After sitting at 94.7 mph with his fastball last season, Senga's four-seamer averaged 97.4 mph against St. Louis on Tuesday. He also generated 17 whiffs on 92 total pitches, but walks remained an issue for the right-hander after he walked 4.4 batters per nine innings in 2025. The third inning proved to be the difference for Senga on Tuesday, as he gave up three straight hits to begin the frame, including a two-run double to Ivan Herrera. Senga retired 12 of the final 14 he faced. Senga's next start is scheduled for Sunday against the Giants in San Francisco.

The Orioles are expected to select Suarez's contract from Triple-A Norfolk on Wednesday, Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

With Zach Eflin (elbow) likely headed for the injured list, Suarez will come up from the minors to provide extra bullpen depth until the team needs to fill the open rotation spot. The 36-year-old righty made five appearances in the majors last season and allowed just three earned runs over 11.2 innings, but he turned in a 7.59 ERA and 1.97 WHIP across 10.2 frames in the Grapefruit League this spring.
