The Nationals are expected to reinstate Williams (elbow) from the 60-day injured list Wednesday, Danielle Allentuck of The Washington Post reports.

Williams has been on the IL all season while on the mend from the internal brace procedure he underwent last July. He was cleared to begin a rehab assignment June 28 and has since given up 14 runs (11 earned) in 15.1 innings over six appearances while making stops at each of the Nationals' minor-league affiliates. With Williams failing to find consistent success against minor-leaguers and fellow starter Jake Irvin (shoulder) also closing in on a return from the IL, manager Blake Butera has already confirmed that Williams will move to the bullpen to work as a long reliever. It's unknown whether it will be a permanent move, though returning to the rotation will only become more difficult once Connelly Early (elbow) is cleared to make his Nationals debut.

Beeter locked down the save Tuesday against the Blue Jays, recording a perfect inning while striking out one batter.

It took just 12 pitches (eight strikes) for Beeter to put away Toronto for his 11th save of the campaign. The 27-year-old has now recorded three saves in the last four days and has not allowed a run in that time. On the season, Beeter now owns a 3.58 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 34:20 K:BB through 32.2 innings.

Happ went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a walk, two RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 10-2 win over the Cardinals.

Happ got the Cubs on the board in his first plate appearance, ripping a two-out double to right field with two runners in scoring position. He added another double in the ninth inning, giving him 20 two-baggers on the year. The veteran outfielder is on pace to top 30 doubles for his fifth consecutive season. Happ has cooled off at the plate in July, batting .219 with six RBI across 21 games.

Young went 0-for-0 with two RBI, three walks and a run scored in Tuesday's 8-6 win over the Blue Jays.

Young drove in his first run courtesy of an RBI walk in the bottom of the first inning, and then drove in Daylen Lile on a sacrifice fly in the fifth. For the 26-year-old, it was his first multi-walk game since July 17 and his first time drawing three walks in a game this season. Young has been on fire in his last seven games, slashing .389/.455/.611 with one homer and five RBI in 21 plate appearances.

Crews went 1-for-4 with a homer, two runs scored, a walk and two strikeouts in Washington's 8-6 win over Toronto on Tuesday.

Crews blasted his ninth homer of the campaign in the bottom of the fourth, going back-to-back with Luis Garcia to extend the lead to 7-2. The 24-year-old has now recorded an extra-base hit in each of his last three games. Over his last seven games, Crews has slashed .375/.516/.708 with two homers and four RBI in 30 plate appearances.

McGreevy (4-9) took the loss Tuesday against the Cubs, allowing seven runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out two over 1.2 innings.

McGreevy needed 63 pitches (40 strikes) to record just five outs and matched his career high by allowing seven runs. After laboring through a two-run first inning, the right-hander unraveled in the second and allowed seven baserunners -- including five straight to end his outing -- as Chicago plated five more runs. The abbreviated appearance was a stark contrast to his recent stretch, during which he completed at least six innings in eight of his previous nine starts. It also marked the shortest start of his career, surpassing his previous low of four innings. McGreevy has now lost consecutive starts and will carry a 3.57 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 76:29 K:BB into his next scheduled outing Sunday against the Blue Jays.

Garcia went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer, a run scored and a strikeout in Tuesday's 8-6 win over Toronto.

With the Nationals leading 4-2 in the bottom of the fourth inning, Garcia clubbed a two-run homer, scoring Jacob Young to extend the lead. The 26-year-old collected his third straight multi-hit game Tuesday. On the season, Garcia is slashing .282/.313/.551 with a career-high 22 homers and 73 RBI in 358 plate appearances.

Rea (8-7) earned the win Tuesday against the Cardinals, allowing one run on four hits and two walks while striking out two over six innings.

Rea threw 61 of his 94 pitches for strikes and limited St. Louis to four singles. His only run allowed came in the fourth inning on a sacrifice fly after loading the bases. The veteran right-hander has now recorded a quality start in two of his last three starts after failing to do so in each of his previous eight outings. Through three starts since the All-Star break, Rea has allowed nine runs (eight earned) across 17 innings. Despite the recent improvement, his 4.67 ERA ranks sixth highest among qualified starters this season. Rea is lined up to make his second start of the week Sunday against the Yankees.

Cavalli (8-4) earned the win Tuesday against the Blue Jays, allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks while striking out three over six innings.

Despite striking out just three batters, Cavalli picked up his fourth straight quality start and his sixth in his last seven starts dating back to June 25. The 27-year-old tossed 98 pitches, 64 of them for strikes, in his 23rd start of the campaign. The right-hander now owns a 3.55 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 130:36 K:BB through 116.2 innings this season. Cavalli is slated to make his next start against Atlanta on Sunday.

Suzuki went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's 10-2 win over the Cardinals.

Suzuki has been swinging a hot bat lately, and he extended his hitting streak to four games with his seventh three-hit effort of the season. The outfielder is now batting .282 with a .954 OPS, six home runs and 21 RBI across 21 contests this month. Suzuki should remain a mainstay in fantasy lineups as long as he's healthy, as he's locked into a prime spot in Chicago's order and producing at a high level.
