Braves' Martin Perez: Start pushed to Tuesday
Perez is scheduled to start Tuesday's game against the Marlins in Miami, Lindsay Crosby of BravesToday.com reports.
The veteran left-hander was originally penciled in to start Monday's series opener, but he's been pushed back a day after firing a scoreless inning of relief in Saturday's loss to Boston. Perez has enjoyed a strong start to the campaign with a 2.25 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 28:11 K:BB across 36 innings while starting in five of his nine appearances.

Cardinals' Masyn Winn: Exits with apparent leg injury
Winn was removed from Sunday's game against the Royals due to an apparent leg injury, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.
Winn grounded into a fielder's choice during the seventh inning and was replaced by a pinch runner after appearing to tweak his leg while running to first base. The Cardinals have a team day off Monday, so the shortstop will have a full day to aid in his recovery ahead of Tuesday's series opener versus Pittsburgh.

Lee is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Lee has a .203/.239/.281 slash line through 15 games in May and will head to the bench after a run of 34 consecutive starts. Eric Haase, Harrison Bader and Drew Gilbert will start from left to right in the outfield in Sunday's series finale at Sacramento.

Smith started the previous six games and will receive a day off after going 5-for-19 with three walks, a homer, three RBI and four runs during that stretch. Dalton Rushing will step in behind the plate and bat seventh for the series finale in Anaheim.

Pirates' Ryan O'Hearn: Facing multi-week absence
Pirates general manager Ben Cherington said Sunday that O'Hearn's right quadriceps strain is considered "moderate" and will likely keep him on the injured list for around four weeks, Danny Demilio of PittsburghBaseballNow.com reports.
The 32-year-old sustained the injury during Saturday's 6-0 loss to the Phillies and is poised to be sidelined into mid-June. The quad strain is a tough break for O'Hearn, who has been enjoying a strong season as an everyday player with seven home runs, 29 RBI, 27 runs and a .289/.368/.459 slash line through 44 games.

The Dodgers recalled Gervase from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday.
Gervase was up with the Dodgers for a couple days earlier in May and allowed one run with five strikeouts over three innings before returning to Triple-A. He's now back in the majors and is likely to fill a low-leverage role out of the bullpen.

Dodgers' Jack Dreyer: Lands on injured list
The Dodgers placed Dreyer on the 15-day injured list Sunday due to left shoulder discomfort.
According to Sonja Chen of MLB.com, Dreyer felt something in his shoulder while warming up Saturday, but medical imaging revealed nothing more than inflammation. The left-hander could be ready to rejoin the Dodgers bullpen after spending the 15-day minimum on the shelf. Dreyer has been a reliable bullpen piece for manager Dave Roberts with three holds and a 2.08 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 24:6 K:BB across 21.2 innings.
