Bart isn't in the Pirates' lineup for the second game of Saturday's doubleheader versus Washington.

Bart went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored during a loss in Game 1, and he'll now take a seat to conclude Saturday's festivities. Yasmani Grandal will fill in behind the plate and bat seventh.

Young is out of the lineup for the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Pirates.

Young went 0-for-4 in the matinee and will head to the bench for Game 2. Dylan Crews will shift over to center field in place of Young.

Merrifield was diagnosed with a fractured left foot Saturday but is hopeful to return in time for a three-game series against the Dodgers that starts Sept. 13, Gabe Burns of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Merrifield fouled a ball off his foot Friday and further testing revealed he's dealing with a fracture. While he'll miss some time, a stay on the injured list doesn't seem necessary. With Merrifield sidelined, expect Luke Williams to handle most of the work at second base.

Higashioka is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against San Francisco.

Higashioka will take a seat Saturday against Logan Webb and the Giants. In his place, Luis Campusano will catch and bat seventh.

Tatis is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Giants.

Tatis appeared in four straight games after being activated from the 60-day injured list Sept. 2, going 4-for-18 with three runs and an RBI during that stretch. He'll get Saturday's game off as David Peralta fills right field.

Merrill (knee) is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Giants.

Merrill suffered a patella contusion Friday after fouling a ball off his knee and he'll get the night off to rest and recover Saturday. X-rays on his knee came back negative, but it wouldn't be surprising to see the Padres play it safe with the 21-year-old and hold him out through Monday's off day.

Donovan isn't in the Cardinals' lineup for Saturday's game versus Seattle, Lynn Worthy of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

An 0-for-4 performance Friday snapped Donovan's seven-game hitting streak, during which he went 10-for-28 with a home run, four RBI and six runs scored. His absence Saturday will put Jose Fermin at the keystone for St. Louis.

Herrera isn't in the Cardinals' lineup for Saturday's game against the Mariners, Lynn Worthy of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Herrera has gone 5-for-15 with three RBI across his last five games, but he'll sit down for a second consecutive contest Saturday while Pedro Pages catches for Kyle Gibson and bats seventh.

Arenado (shoulder) is playing third base and batting cleanup Saturday against the Mariners.

Arenado left Friday's game against Seattle in the ninth inning due to shoulder soreness. The third baseman had difficulties swinging a bat leading up to his removal, but he's feeling well enough to start Saturday. Arenado is 9-for-38 (.231) with eight runs and four RBI in his last nine games.

Soler isn't in Atlanta's lineup for Saturday's game against the Blue Jays.

Soler has tallied a base hit in each of his last three games, but he'll take a seat on the bench Saturday while Ramon Laureano takes over in right field.
