Maile is out of the lineup for Monday's game against Atlanta.

Maile picked up a start in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Mets while top backstop Tyler Stephenson received a breather, but Stephenson will be back behind the plate Monday. Since being activated from the 10-day injured list Aug. 2, Maile has started just seven times while going 2-for-21 at the dish.

Benson is out of the lineup for Monday's game in Atlanta.

T.J. Friedl needed just one afternoon out of the lineup to recover from experiencing a shortness of breath in Saturday's 4-0 loss to the Mets, so Benson will head back to the bench as the Reds head to Atlanta for a standalone game. Before cracking the lineup Sunday, Benson hadn't started in any of the Reds' preceding five contests.

Taylor went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Sunday against the Nationals.

Taylor has started consecutive games with lefties on the mound, though he hasn't been in the lineup against a right-hander since Aug. 25. He did manage to pop his fifth home run of the season and first since July 30 with lefty Patrick Corbin on the mound Sunday.

Friedl will start in center field and bat cleanup in Monday's game against Atlanta.

After experiencing shortness of breath and exiting early in Saturday's 4-0 loss to the Mets, Friedl was held out of the lineup for the series finale Sunday. Friedl felt well enough to come off the bench to pinch hit in addition to playing two innings in center field in the Reds' 3-1 win, so it comes as little surprise that he'll be back in the starting nine a day later.

India (elbow) is absent from the lineup for Monday's game in Atlanta.

India exited Sunday's win over the Mets due to left elbow discomfort. While the injury does not seem like a long-term concern, India will miss at least one start. Santiago Espinal will occupy second base for the Reds on Monday.

Gonzales went 2-for-4 with a run scored Sunday against the Nationals.

Gonzales was activated from the injured list Aug. 26 and has started 11 of 13 games since -- all of which have come at second base. He's hit .327 with six RBI and seven runs scored in that span while also striking out at only a 14 percent clip.

Senzatela allowed five earned runs on five hits and one walk while striking out five across 3.2 innings to take the loss in a rehab outing Sunday with Double-A Hartford.

Senzatela took a step back in his results in the shaky outing, but he also ramped up to 68 pitches. That was the highest mark of his five rehab starts, and he appears to be on track for activation from the 60-day injured list perhaps as soon as next weekend.

Hilliard went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run Sunday against the Brewers.

Hilliard remains a part-time player in the Colorado outfield, but he has made starts in all three positions. When given a chance, he's been impactful with the bat, slugging three homers with six RBI and five runs scored across his last 19 at-bats.

Goodman went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk Sunday against the Brewers.

Goodman was promoted when rosters expanded to begin September and has started three of seven games since. Two of those have come behind the plate, joining a rotation with Jacob Stallings and Drew Romo. Goodman has gone 3-for-14 with a solo home run in his limited sample since returning to the majors.

Arraez went 3-for-5 with a run in Sunday's loss to the Giants.

Arraez collected three singles for the second straight contest and concluded the three-game set against San Francisco having gone 7-for-14 with an RBI and three runs. He's batted an NL-best .328 since the All-Star break and has struck out just twice over 180 at-bats during that span. Arraez's .315 average on the campaign is fourth-best among qualified major-league hitters and puts him firmly on pace to bat over .300 for the third straight season.
