Yastrzemski went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run and four RBI in Wednesday's win over the Brewers.

Yastrzemski lined out to center in his first at-bat before launching a three-run homer in the second inning to extend San Francisco's lead to eight runs. The outfielder would also add an RBI double in the fourth to give him just his second multi-hit performance this month. Yastrzemski has now gone deep in back-to-back games and already has four long balls in September to go along with seven RBI and seven runs scored.

Rea (12-5) was tagged with the loss against the Giants on Wednesday, allowing 10 runs on 11 hits and one walk over four innings. He struck out one.

Rea had a night to forget Wednesday, allowing four runs in each of the first two innings before ultimately being charged with a season-high 10 runs in the contest. The right-hander also surrendered a season-high 11 hits and has now failed to make it through five innings in back-to-back starts. Furthermore, Rea has coughed up multiple homers in three of his last four outings, while Wednesday marked only his second start this season in which he's failed to record more than one strikeout.

Snell (3-3) picked up the win over the Brewers on Wednesday, allowing one run on four hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out eight.

Both walks and three of the four hits against Snell in the contest came over the first three innings. The lefty would then allow just one batter to reach over his final two frames while generating 17 swinging strikes on the night. The win was Snell's first since Aug. 7 against Washington, and he's now recorded eight or more strikeouts in eight of his last nine outings (excluding his previous start in which he was pulled after just one inning). He also hasn't allowed more than three runs in any outing since June 2 against the Yankees.

King (12-9) took the loss against Seattle on Wednesday, allowing three runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks over five innings while striking out six.

King cruised through the first two innings before walking Miguel Rojas with one out in the third and then hitting Victor Robles with a pitch to put two runners on. The right-hander would then go on to surrender two RBI singles in the frame, leading to three runs coming across for Seattle -- though only one of those runs would count against King on account of a fielding error by Jake Cronenworth. King still managed to make it through five innings for the 12th time in his last 13 outings while generating 13 whiffs on the night. He now carries a 1.64 ERA through two starts in September, and King has also recorded at least six strikeouts in nine of his last 10 starts.

Abrams went 2-for-4 with a home run and an additional run in Wednesday's 5-1 victory versus Atlanta.

Abrams crushed a 420-foot homer to center field in the fourth inning for his 20th homer of the campaign. It's the first time he's reached that mark in his career -- the shortstop fell just short with 18 long balls last year. Abrams also has 28 steals this season, making him one of 10 big leaguers to reach 20-20 so far.

Steer went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the Cardinals.

Steer has gone just 6-for-35 (.171) over 10 games in September, but he's managed to rack up three steals this month. He's now at 25 thefts on the year, reaching that mark in 28 attempts. The 26-year-old has added a .231/.325/.406 slash line with 19 home runs, 30 doubles, two triples, 86 RBI and 68 runs scored through 144 contests.

Marte went 1-for-2 with a walk and two stolen bases in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the Cardinals.

Marte's playing time has been sporadic in September -- this was his fifth game of the month. He's gone 3-for-15 (.200) in those contests while adding a 1:8 BB:K. Marte is up to eight steals on 10 attempts this year while slashing a meager .203/.239/.305 with four home runs, 15 RBI and 22 runs scored over 54 games. He got the start at designated hitter Wednesday, but that has typically been Amed Rosario's spot in the lineup versus right-handers in recent weeks.

Fried (9-9) took the loss against Washington on Wednesday, allowing four runs on 11 hits and no walks while striking out six batters over six innings.

Fried kept the Nationals off the scoreboard through two frames, but he gave up at least one run in each of the following three innings. The 11 hits allowed by the southpaw tied a season-worst mark, and the outing snapped a five-game streak of yielding three or fewer runs. Fried did at least manage to continue to eat up innings, as he's now gone at least six frames in four of his past five starts.

Williamson allowed one run on three hits and two walks while striking out five over five innings in a no-decision versus the Cardinals on Wednesday.

Williamson completed five innings for the first time in his three appearances (two starts) since he returned from a shoulder injury that cost him five months to begin the year. He's been good so far, allowing four runs (three earned) over 13 innings while posting an 11:3 K:BB. The lone blemish on his line Wednesday was a solo home run by Nolan Arenado. Williamson is tentatively projected to make his next appearance at home versus Atlanta.

Winn went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Reds.

Winn was in the lineup for nearly a month straight before receiving a day off Tuesday. He's batting just .114 (4-for-35) in September, adding two walks and 12 strikeouts over eight games this month, though the slump has yet to cost him his spot atop the order. The shortstop is at a .271/.319/.406 slash line with 11 steals, 12 home runs, 49 RBI and 70 runs scored over 135 contests this year.
