Cowles (wrist) went 1-for-13 with two walks and two runs over four games for Double-A Tennessee after being reinstated from the 7-day injured list Sept. 9.

Acquired from the Yankees at the trade deadline July 30, Cowles wasn't expected to make his organizational debut with the Cubs until 2025 after he suffered a wrist injury when he was hit by a pitch in his final game for Double-A Somerset on July 25. Cowles ended up healing quicker than expected and got a few games under his belt with Tennessee, and he's now scheduled to pick up some more at-bats in the Arizona Fall League. Per Maddie Lee of the Chicago Sun-Times, Cowles was one of eight Cubs prospects assigned to the Mesa Solar Sox for the start of the Fall League, which begins Oct. 7.

Triolo went 3-for-4 with an RBI on Tuesday against the Brewers.

Triolo has an ugly overall line this season, but since taking over a regular role at third base in the absence of Ke'Bryan Hayes (back) in mid-August, Triolo has hit .277 with seven extra-base hits across 112 at-bats. He also has four homers and three steals across 35 games in that span.

Moreno went 0-for-3 in his return to the lineup Tuesday against the Giants following a one-game absence due to left adductor tightness.

Moreno was unable to get going, but he figures to be behind the plate for the majority of the Diamondbacks' remaining regular-season games as the club continues to fight for a wild-card spot.

Fitzgerald went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer, a double and a walk in Tuesday's win over the Diamondbacks.

Fitzgerald put the cherry on top with a two-run blast in the fifth to put the Giants up 10-0. His power numbers have significantly dipped since he had that mini home run burst with 11 long balls in 17 games starting back on July 9. Tuesday's home run was only his third since Aug. 13 and just his second and third RBI in September. Fitzgerald is still putting together a productive campaign having permanently been back up with the Giants since June 28. For the year, he's slashing .287/.338/.510 with 35 extra-base hits, 33 RBI, 52 runs, 17 steals and a 20:101 BB:K in 325 plate appearances.

Bailey went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, a walk and three runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Diamondbacks.

The home run was his first since July 10 and just his fourth extra-base hit since Aug. 17. Bailey now has five multi-hit games this month and is putting up similar numbers to his rookie campaign in 2023, slashing .235/.297/.342 with eight homers, 44 RBI, 45 runs, three steals and a 37:97 BB:K in 436 plate appearances.

Blackmon went 2-for-3 with a double, a triple and an RBI on Tuesday against the Cardinals.

Blackmon announced his retirement Monday and followed that up with a vintage performance a day later. His .318 wOBA and 91 wRC+ for the season match his career-worst marks, though he could be intriguing in the final week of the campaign as the Rockies finish the schedule at Coors Field. Meanwhile, Blackmon has maintained a .375 wOBA and .220 ISO at home this season.

Wisely went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer in Tuesday's win over the Diamondbacks.

Wisely went deep off Blake Walston in the third inning for the Giants' second three-run homer in the frame. The home run was Wisely's first since June 28 and his first extra-base hit since Aug. 31. He has just 10 hits in 30 games since the beginning of August and will look to find some sort of resurgence at the plate over the final five days of the season.

Conforto went 1-for-5 with a three-run homer in Tuesday's win over the Diamondbacks.

Conforto put his stamp on the game with a three-run blast in the third to put the Giants up 4-0. He's now homered four times over his last six games while racking up seven RBI over that span, and he's reached 20 homers in a season for the first time since 2019. The 31-year-old is now slashing .234/.305/.451 with 50 extra-base hits, 66 RBI, 54 runs and a 41:117 BB:K in 476 plate appearances.

Whitman logged a 4.96 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 54:11 K:BB in 52.2 innings across 11 starts for High-A Eugene.

His final start was Aug. 17, but he was never placed on the injured list, so perhaps Whitman had reached his workload limit after logging 103 innings across Single-A and High-A. A 6-foot-5 lefty who turned 23 last week, Whitman pitched much better than his ERA at High-A indicates (3.56 FIP, 3.46 xFIP), and is one of the Giants' best pitching prospects. His strikeout rate remained around 25 percent after his promotion while he lowered his walk rate from 11.9 percent at Single-A to five percent at High-A. Whitman has a true three-pitch mix, headlined by a low-90s fastball with good movement and a plus slider.

Harris went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, two run scored and two RBI in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Mets.

The 23-year-old outfielder rapped an RBI double in the third inning to get Atlanta on the board before taking Luis Severino deep for a solo shot in the fourth. Harris has been on fire to close out September, slashing .417/.438/.850 over the last 13 games with seven homers, 13 RBI and 16 runs, and he's a big reason why his team is still even in the wild-card picture in the final week of the regular season.
