Chivilli (1-3) allowed four earned runs on three hits and a walk while striking out one across two-thirds of an inning to take the loss Tuesday against the Cardinals.

Chivilli has experienced plenty of success during his first sample in the majors, as he had a 1.96 ERA and 1.09 WHIP with a 22:8 K:BB across his last 22 appearances entering Tuesday's contest. His implosion was untimely, however, with the Rockies trying to find a closer with Tyler Kinley (elbow) sidelined. Chivilli was used in the eighth inning of a tie game, which suggest he'll stick in a setup role for the final week of the season.

Ramos went 4-for-5 with a solo homer and two runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Giants.

Ramos belted his 22nd home run of the season in the fourth inning to extend the Giants' lead to 8-0, though it was just his second home run since Aug. 27. Tuesday's game was the first of his career with four hits and his seventh this season with at least three hits. Ramos is now slashing .270/.323/.473 with 71 RBI, 53 runs, six steals and a 36:132 BB:K in 505 plate appearances. He also currently leads the team with a .796 OPS, just ahead of Matt Chapman (.793).

Schwellenbach (8-7) picked up the win in Tuesday's 5-1 victory over the Mets, allowing one run on three hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out four.

The rookie right-hander took a shutout into the seventh inning before serving up a solo shot to Mark Vientos, and Schwellenbach left the mound after 87 pitches (62 strikes). He has been huge for Atlanta down the stretch as the team tries to earn a playoff berth -- he's given up three runs or fewer in 11 straight outings, posting a 2.59 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 73:13 K:BB through 66 innings over that stretch, and Tuesday's quality start was his third straight and his 11th of the year. He's tentatively scheduled to work the final game of the regular season at home Sunday against the Royals, with a potential wild-card spot on the line.

Vientos went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-1 loss to Atlanta.

The 24-year-old spoiled Spencer Schwellenbach's shutout bid in the seventh inning when he drove the first pitch he saw the other way for a 346-foot homer. Vientos has had an up-and-down September, but he's racked up seven hits in the last six games, including a double and two long balls, despite striking out 11 times in 25 plate appearances. He's overall had a successful first extended look at big-league pitching, posting a .270/.328/.523 slash line with 26 home runs and 68 RBI in 107 contests this season, but the Mets may need a little more from him if they're going to hang onto a wild-card spot.

Pfaadt (10-10) took the loss Tuesday against the Giants, allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits and two walks while striking out four over 2.2 innings.

Pfaadt fell flat on his face again after delivering a brilliant outing his last time out during which he racked up a career-high 12 strikeouts. All the major damage against him came from home runs. Patrick Bailey took him deep in the second and then Michael Conforto extended the lead with a three-run blast in the third. Pfaadt has allowed nine home runs over his last nine starts and has seen his ERA jump from 3.92 to a 4.80 in eight starts since Aug. 7. Arizona hasn't revealed its pitching plans for the final series of the regular season this weekend against the Padres, but Pfaadt would be available on normal rest to take the hill Sunday.

Severino (11-7) took the loss Tuesday, giving up four runs on seven hits and a walk over four innings as the Mets fell 5-1 to Atlanta. He struck out five.

The right-hander picked a bad time to have his worst start of September, and his shortest outing since July 31. Severino needed 89 pitches (61 strikes) to record 12 outs, and he saw his quality start streak end at four. He's been one the Mets' most reliable arms during their playoff push, posting a 3.17 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 52:14 K:BB over his last eight trips to the mound, and Severino could be pitching with a wild-card spot on the line in his final start of the regular season, which lines up to come Sunday in Milwaukee.

Webb (13-10) got the win over the Diamondbacks on Tuesday after throwing six shutout innings while allowing four hits and a walk. He struck out three.

Webb was staked a seven-run lead by the third inning and that lead grew to 10 by the fifth. Still, he never let up and tossed his seventh outing of at least six scoreless innings this season. Tuesday was likely Webb's final start of the season. He'll finish as one of a handful of pitchers to surpass 200 innings this season and he currently sits 10th in the National League with a 3.47 ERA. Overall, Webb owns a 3.47 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 172:50 K:BB in 204.2 innings.

Smith went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Tuesday's loss to the Padres.

Smith notched his fourth multi-hit effort over his last 10 games, a span during which he's hitting .303 with a 3:4 BB:K. Smith has five extra-base hits this month but needs one more home run to reach 20 for the third time in his career. For the season, he's slashing .248/.326/.431 with 72 RBI, 73 runs and a 49:104 BB:K in 530 plate appearances.

Knack (3-5) took the loss Tuesday against Padres, allowing four runs on five hits and a walk while striking out four in four innings.

Knack was hit pretty hard in this one, allowing a second-inning homer to Jake Cronenworth and then a pair of doubles and a single in the fourth. Knack has allowed four home runs and owns a 5.82 ERA across four starts in September and is set for an unappealing matchup against the Rockies at Coors Field over the weekend.

Cronenworth went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer, a double and three RBI in Tuesday's win over the Dodgers.

Cronenworth powered the San Diego offense with a two-run blast in the second inning and an RBI double in the fourth. He's now got two multi-hit efforts over his last four games and his home run was his first of the month. It's been a struggle overall in September for Cronenworth, who's now slashing just .206/.342/.286 with three extra-base hits, three RBI, five runs, a steal and a 13:14 BB:K in 77 plate appearances this month.
