Devenski (illness) is expected to resume throwing bullpen sessions during the upcoming week, MLB.com reports.

Devenski was cleared to resume all baseball activities May 13, but he appears to have been limited to throwing off flat ground since that date. While the right-hander looks poised to take the next step in throwing program by getting back on a mound, he's still likely at least a couple weeks away from being ready for action with the Pirates. Before landing on the injured list May 7 due to an undisclosed illness, Devenski surrendered two earned runs on five hits over 2.1 innings in three appearances out of the Pittsburgh bullpen.

Carey, who is working his way back from a heel injury, began a rehab assignment Friday in the rookie-level Florida Complex League, Lindsay Crosby of BravesToday.com reports.

Carey has gone 0-for-5 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored through the first two games of his rehab assignment. The 19-year-old outfielder has been on High-A Rome's 7-day injured list since April 24, but he could be ready to return to action in the South Atlantic League at some point during the upcoming week.

Brzykcy is expected to be called up from Triple-A Jacksonville on Monday, Kevin Barral of FishonFirst.com reports.

Brzykcy will join the big-league club for the first time in 2026, looking to make his Marlins debut after being claimed by the team off waivers in November. The right-hander has posted a 4.79 ERA and 1.39 WHIP with 24 strikeouts over 20.2 innings in 16 appearances out of the bullpen with Jacksonville so far this year.

La Sorsa is expected to trigger his upward mobility clause Monday, Ari Alexander of 7 News Boston reports.

La Sorsa signed a minor-league contract with the Pirates before the 2026 campaign and already attempted to find another suitor once by exercising his upward mobility clause, ultimately sticking around after he went unclaimed on waivers in late March. The southpaw has posted a 3.60 ERA and 1.12 WHIP with 21 strikeouts over 25 innings in 21 appearances, including two starts, with Triple-A Indianapolis this season. It's unclear if he'll garner much interest on the open market.

Brown (shoulder) had been scheduled to throw a live bullpen session this weekend, MLB.com reports.

The Rockies have yet to officially confirm whether Brown was able to complete the next step in his throwing program, but at the very least, the report presumably indicates that the right-hander has already thrown off a mound without a hitter present in the batter's box. Brown has been on the mend from right shoulder inflammation since the early weeks of spring training, and given how long he's been shelved, he'll likely need to complete multiple live sessions before moving on to what will presumably be an extended minor-league rehab assignment. The 26-year-old has three minor-league options remaining and could be sent to Triple-A Albuquerque or Double-A Hartford once he's deemed ready to return from the 60-day injured list.

Herget (shoulder) was cleared to resume playing catch May 24, MLB.com reports.

Herget is in the process of ramping up his throwing after he was placed on the injured list May 14 due to a right shoulder impingement. The 32-year-old righty had been one of the Rockies' key setup men prior to landing on the shelf, notching three holds and one save while logging a 5.06 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 17:4 K:BB in 16 innings over 15 appearances.

Realmuto (wrist) underwent X-rays, which came back negative, following Sunday's 9-1 loss to the Dodgers, Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Realmuto sustained a left wrist contusion when he was hit by a 97 mph fastball from Yoshinobu Yamamoto in the third inning, which ultimately forced him to exit the game an inning later. Manager Don Mattingly provided an update following the game, outlining that the catcher didn't suffer any additional structural damage and sharing that he expects that Realmuto "will be fine." He can be considered day-to-day ahead of the team's off day Monday before beginning a three-game set with the Padres at home Tuesday.

Stott went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 9-1 loss to the Dodgers.

Stott's ninth-inning blast kept the Phillies from getting shut out in this contest. The second baseman entered the game 0-for-17 over his last five contests, with just one walk and two strikeouts in that span. He's batting just .217 with a .644 OPS, six homers, 26 RBI, 16 runs scored, eight doubles, two triples and 10 stolen bases over 53 games this season, though he remains in a near-everyday role.

Painter (1-6) allowed four runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out three over 3.1 innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Dodgers.

Painter was tagged for solo home runs by Ryan Ward and Alex Freeland in the fourth inning, which was enough to end his outing. Painter had allowed just five runs over 17.1 innings across his previous three starts combined, though that still wasn't good enough for him to collect his second win of the year. He's now lost two games in a row and is at a 5.74 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 43:17 K:BB through 53.1 innings over 11 outings (10 starts). The rookie right-hander's next start is projected to come at home versus the White Sox.

Ward went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Sunday's 9-1 win over the Phillies.

Ward went deep in the fourth inning off Andrew Painter for his first big-league homer in three games. This was Ward's first time in the lineup since he was called up Thursday to replace Teoscar Hernandez (hamstring) on the 26-man roster. Ward could end up pushing Alex Call for at-bats versus right-handed pitchers, though it's unclear if Ward will be given the chance to carve out a true platoon role. He has gone 3-for-8 with two RBI and two strikeouts so far this season.
