Rojas (shoulder) threw to bases Monday and will do so again Wednesday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Rojas has been limited to designated-hitter duty thus far in Grapefruit League play after suffering a right shoulder injury during the Dominican Winter League. Assuming he gets through Wednesday's throwing session without any hiccups, he'll then be cleared to play center field in a Grapefruit League game, according to Phillies manager Rob Thomson. Rojas is expected to be ready for Opening Day and projects to serve as the club's fourth outfielder.

Harrington remains in big-league camp and will start Tuesday against the Phillies, Tribune-Review Sports reports.

Harrington didn't come into spring training with as much buzz as Bubba Chandler, but he's a very good pitching prospect in his own right and is the last prospect left competing for a rotation spot. Harrington could just be an insurance policy in case one of the Pirates' other starters gets injured before the start of the season, but Harrington looked sharp while striking out five batters over three innings in an intrasquad game last week, per Chris Clegg of The Dynasty Dugout.

Manager Rob Thomson announced Monday that Wheeler will receive the start for the Phillies' March 27 season opener versus the Nationals in Washington, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

He will square off against MacKenzie Gore, who was named the Nationals' Opening Day starter earlier Monday. Wheeler was an obvious choice after another stellar showing in 2024 in which he collected a 2.57 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 224:52 K:BB across an even 200 innings during the regular season.

The Padres reassigned Wall to minor-league camp Monday.

Wall is expected to begin the season at Triple-A El Paso. The 29-year-old outfielder has seen big-league action in both of the past two seasons, slashing .311/.380/.422 over 50 regular-season plate appearances between stops with Atlanta and Miami.

The Padres reassigned Goodrum to minor-league camp Monday.

Goodrum will likely open the season at Triple-A El Paso, where he'll presumably serve as a utility man. The 33-year-old logged 33 plate appearances at the big-league level in 2024 between stops with the Rays and Angels, slashing .103/.188/.103 with one stolen base.

Winker exited Monday's Grapefruit League contest versus the Rays due to a calf cramp, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Mets manager Carlos Mendoza indicated that Winker's removal was precautionary, adding that the 31-year-old "should be OK." Winker -- who was retired in his lone plate appearance Monday -- is sporting an .805 OPS this spring and projects to open the season as the Mets' primary designated hitter against right-handed pitching.

The Cardinals reassigned Sisco to minor-league camp Sunday.

Sisco has appeared in parts of five seasons in the majors, but he hasn't seen big-league action since 2021. He'll likely serve as organizational catching depth for St. Louis in the upper levels of the minors in 2025.

The Cardinals reassigned Pozo to minor-league camp Monday.

Pozo received a late invitation to big-league camp but never made much of a push for a spot on the Opening Day roster with the Cardinals likely to begin the season with Pedro Pages and Ivan Herrera as their catching tandem. The 27-year-old Pozo hasn't seen MLB action since 2021 with the Rangers and will likely spend the majority of the 2025 campaign at Triple-A Memphis.

The Cardinals reassigned Vilade to minor-league camp Sunday.

Vilade was one of 12 players sent out in the Cardinals' latest round of roster cuts leading up to Opening Day. As a member of the Tigers organization last season, the 26-year-old utility player saw his first big-league action since 2021, appearing in 17 games while slashing .178/.208/.244. Vilade is likely to begin the 2025 season at Triple-A Memphis.

The Mets reassigned Meneses to minor-league camp Monday.

Meneses has produced at a near-league-average level at the plate over parts of three seasons in the majors with the Nationals, slashing .274/.322/.408 with a 101 wRC+ across 1,210 plate appearances. The 32-year-old's power production dropped considerably in 2024, however, with Meneses slugging just three home runs in 313 plate appearances before the Nationals demoted him to Triple-A last July and kept him in the minors for the remainder of the season. He caught on with the Mets on a minor-league deal in the offseason, but Meneses' declining production and lack of defensive flexibility made it unlikely that he would win a bench role on the Opening Day roster. Meneses will likely open the season at Triple-A Syracuse, and it may take a Pete Alonso injury in order for him to get a look with the big club.
