Merrill went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer, a walk, a stolen base and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Cubs.

Merrill kickstarted the Padres' rally while down 7-3 with a two-run blast to center field in the fourth. He leads the team early on with three homers, all of which have come in his last five games. Merrill has posted a hit in all but one game so far this season and is pacing the ballclub with a .378 batting average and 10 RBI.

Suarez struck out two in a perfect ninth inning to record his fourth save of the year in Sunday's 8-7 win over the Cubs.

Suarez was tasked with facing the 2-3-4 batters in the Cubs' order. He sent down Seiya Suzuki and Kyle Tucker quickly before coming out on top in a 10-pitch duel with Justin Turner. Suarez has now converted all four save chances and has yet to allow a hit while posting a 6:1 K:BB.

Hart allowed five runs on two hits and four walks in just two-thirds of an inning Sunday against the Cubs. He did not factor into the decision.

Hart was staked to a three-run lead in the top half of the first inning, but that advantage quickly disappeared. He walked four Cubs and didn't make it out of the frame. Hart's day finished with the bases loaded and the game tied at 3-3, and he was charged two more runs on two balks by Logan Gillaspie. It was a step in the wrong direction after Hart earned a win in his MLB debut. He'll look to bounce back in a home start versus the Rockies next weekend.

Flores went 1-for-1 with an RBI during Sunday's 5-4 win over the Mariners.

The 33-year-old began the game on the bench for the first time this season, though he pinch hit in the ninth frame and knocked a walk-off single into right field. Flores ranks third in the National League with 12 RBI on the season and is the only player in the top five with fewer than 10 appearances. The veteran has delivered a productive start to the 2025 campaign, slashing .273/.314/.636 with four home runs, an additional run and a walk across 33 at-bats.

Brown allowed five runs on seven hits and four walks while striking out five over four innings Sunday versus the Padres. He did not factor into the decision.

Brown needed 35 pitches to complete a disastrous first inning during which he allowed three runs while facing all nine batters in the Padres lineup. He responded with consecutive scoreless innings but surrendered a two-out, two-run homer to Jackson Merrill in the fourth. Brown's shaky command returned after he showed some improvement his last time out. He hasn't looked comfortable as a starter yet and lines up for a difficult matchup on the road against the Dodgers next weekend.

Rodriguez allowed one hit while striking out one in two-thirds of an inning during Sunday's 5-4 win over the Mariners.

Rodriguez entered Sunday's matchup in the sixth frame with one out and two runners on base, allowing an RBI single before retiring Seattle's next two batters. Aside from the single, the 25-year-old was effective during his limited time on the mound, throwing eight of his 13 pitches for strikes while protecting a 4-2 lead. The right-handed reliever has made five appearances this season, recording a 0.00 ERA, 0.56 WHIP, 9:0 K:BB, one win and one hold across 5.1 innings.

Tovar went 4-for-5 with two doubles, a steal, three RBI and three runs scored in Sunday's win over the Athletics.

Tovar swiped his first bag of the campaign and also plated some runs for the first time since the season opener. He had a productive home-opening series, going 8-for-15 with three doubles, a triple, three RBI and four runs scored. He'll look to stay hot with the Diamondbacks coming to town to begin the new week.

Doyle went 3-for-5 with a solo homer, a double, four RBI and three runs scored in Sunday's win over the Athletics.

Doyle started off his day with a solo home run to left for his first long ball of the year. He fell a triple shy of the cycle after a two-RBI double in the second and a run-scoring single in the eighth. Sunday was his second three-hit effort of the year, and he now has at least a hit in seven of nine games to open up the season.

Dollander (1-0) allowed four runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out six over five innings in a win Sunday versus the Athletics.

Dollander was hurt by the long ball, allowing a two-run shot to Tyler Soderstrom in the first and a solo blast to Lawrence Butler in the fifth. He did show plenty of promise, topping out at 99.3 MPH with his fastball and getting out of an impressive bases-loaded jam in the fourth with back-to-back strikeouts. Dollander will have his work cut out for him in his next start, which is set to be on the road versus the Padres.

Pallante did not factor in the decision during a loss to Boston in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader. He allowed two runs on four hits and three walks over 4.1 innings while striking out six.

Pallante rolled through three shutout frames before David Hamilton put Boston on the board with an RBI single in the fourth inning. Rafael Devers followed that up with a solo shot in the fifth. Pallante threw 53 of 92 pitches for strikes and generated 12 whiffs. He owns a 3.86 ERA with a 9:5 K:BB through 9.1 innings. Pallante's next start is lined up to be a home matchup with the Phillies.
