Singer (3-0) earned the win against Pittsburgh on Friday, giving up three earned runs on two hits and three walks while striking out three batters over five innings.

Singer took a 5-0 lead into the fifth inning Friday, but after giving up a walk, a double and an Adam Frazier home run in consecutive plate appearances, that lead was quickly cut down to 5-3. He escaped the inning without conceding any more damage, allowing him to qualify for his third win in as many starts to begin the year. He'll carry a 3.18 ERA and 1.06 WHIP into his next start against the Mariners at home.

Sheets went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk Friday against Colorado.

Sheets continued to help pour it on for the Padres in the seventh inning, blasting a 371-foot homer to right field to make it an 8-0 game. The lefty-hitting corner outfielder regularly starts on the bench and yields to Yuli Gurriel when San Diego is up against a southpaw, which limits his overall fantasy appeal, but Sheets is batting a strong .333 with two long balls, two doubles and eight RBI over 36 at-bats to open the campaign.

Wade went 1-for-3 with one run scored, two walks and three RBI in Friday's 9-1 rain-shortened win over the Yankees.

Wade played a big role in chasing Marcus Stroman in the first inning, when the former smacked a double to right field to bring home Matt Chapman and Heliot Ramos. Wade brought home another run in the sixth frame when he drew a bases-loaded walk at the top of the sixth inning in what was ultimately the final play of the game due to inclement weather. Wade entered Friday's game having gone 0-for-15 with seven strikeouts over his last five games and was demoted from leadoff to the sixth spot in the lineup for this game.

Tatis went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored Friday against Colorado.

After sitting out Wednesday's game against the Athletics with a sore left shoulder, Tatis launched a 411-foot homer off Rockies right-hander Angel Chivilli in the sixth inning Friday to extend San Diego's lead to 7-0. The star outfielder is off to a sizzling start at the dish in 2025, slashing .375/.446/.583 with three big flies and eight RBI through 56 plate appearances to go with 12 runs scored and six stolen bases over 13 outings.

Lee went 1-for-2 with two walks and a three-run home run in Friday's 9-1 rain-shortened win over the Yankees.

Lee started the Giants' onslaught in the first inning when he smashed a three-run homer off Marcus Stroman to right-center field. Lee drove home three of Giants' five first-inning runs as they successfully chased Stroman early. It was Lee's first homer of the year, and he's started the 2025 campaign slashing .340/.404/.596 with three stolen bases, 13 runs scored, one home run and seven RBI across 49 plate appearances.

Ray (3-0) earned the win in Friday's rain-shortened game against the Yankees, allowing one run on two hits and four walks while striking out seven across four innings.

Ray was given a five-run cushion to work with after the Giants chased Marcus Stroman in the first inning. Ray still needed 98 pitches (56 strikes) to get through four innings, but he was nonetheless credited with his third win of the year since the Giants played only five innings on defense. Ray has started the season with a 2.93 ERA and 1.24 WHIP across 15.1 innings and is lined up to face the Phillies on the road next week.

Edwards went 2-for-4 with one walk, one run and two RBI in Friday's 7-4 loss to the Nationals.

Edwards got the scoring started for the Marlins with a two-RBI single in the fifth frame, and he crossed home plate two batters later on Kyle Stowers double. Friday marked Edwards' fourth multi-hit game of the season, and he's started the year slashing .300/.390/.360 with three stolen bases, eight walks and five RBI across 59 plate appearances.

Cabrera did not factor into the decision in Friday's 7-4 loss to the Nationals. He allowed two runs on four hits and three walks while striking out five over 5.2 innings.

Cabrera started the season on the 15-day injured list due to a blister on his right middle finger that developed during spring training. He was activated off the IL on Friday and didn't yield a run through the first five innings. He ran into more resistance in the sixth inning and was pulled after giving up a two-run home run to Josh Bell and a walk to Alex Call. Known for being erratic, Cabrera fell just one out shy of registering a quality start, throwing 79 pitches (47 strikes) and generating 11 whiffs. The 26-year-old right-hander will look for his first win in his next start, which is slated for next week at home against the Diamondbacks.

Wood went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's 7-4 win over Miami.

Wood extended the Nationals' lead to two runs in the ninth inning when he took Luarbert Arias deep to left-center field for a 400-foot solo homer. Wood has belted four home runs over his last four games and 10 RBI over his last six outings.

Bell went 1-for-4 with a walk and a two-run homer in Friday's 7-4 win over the Marlins.

Bell smacked his first home run since March 30 in the sixth inning, when he took the first pitch from Edward Cabrera deep to right field for a 395-foot, two-run home run. Bell has reached base safely in eight straight games, and over that span he has gone 6-for-24 with seven walks, five runs scored, one home run and three RBI.
