Stowers went 2-for-3 with one run scored and two RBI in Saturday's 7-6 win over the Nationals.

Stowers drove in his first run on a sacrifice fly in the third inning, and he knocked in what ended up being the game-winning run in the sixth with a double to center field that brought home Xavier Edwards. Stowers has gone 4-for-8 with two doubles, one triple and four RBI in the first two games of the series.

Mervis went 1-for-3 with one walk and a solo home run in Saturday's 7-6 win over the Nationals.

Mervis opened the scoring in the second inning when he took Trevor Williams deep to right field for a solo home run. Mervis has smacked homers in back-to-back games, and the 28-year-old first baseman is slashing .281/.333/.656 with five runs scored, four home runs and eight RBI across 36 plate appearances, though he's also struck out 14 times.

Iglesias earned the save in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Rays, allowing one run on one hit in the ninth inning. He did not record a walk or a strikeout.

Iglesias was able to protect a two-run lead in the ninth, though he did allow a two-out solo shot to Jonathan Aranda. On the season, the veteran owns a 4.50 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 7:1 K:BB across six innings while converting two of his three save chances. It's worth noting he has yielded three home runs already after surrendering just four across 69.1 innings in 2024.

Kerkering logged a hold Saturday against St. Louis after recording two outs in the seventh inning. He struck out one.

With the potential tying run at the plate, Kerkering was called upon to safeguard a 4-1 lead in the seventh inning and retired Nolan Gorman and Lars Nootbaar to close the frame. Jose Alvarado has taken over as Philadelphia's favorite for saves for the time being amid Jordan Romano's early-season struggles, but Kerkering remains an option for high-leverage work as well. Although he's blown his lone save opportunity while logging a shaky 1.50 WHIP and 4:3 K:BB, the right-hander has posted three holds and managed to allow just one run through 5.1 innings thus far.

Alcantara (2-0) got the win against the Nationals on Saturday, allowing four runs on five hits and four walks while striking out one batter across 5.2 innings.

Alcantara went nine up, nine down through the first three innings, but he ran into trouble in the fourth when he allowed three runs after loading up the bases. He gave up a fourth run in the sixth inning on an Amed Rosario RBI single, and despite generating only three whiffs on 87 pitches (53 strikes), Alcantara was provided enough run support from the Marlins' offense to come away with his second win of the season. Alcantara has posted a 4.70 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 12:8 K:BB across 15.1 innings to begin the season, and his next start is tentatively slated for next week at home against the Diamondbacks.

Smith-Shawver did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 5-4 win against the Rays, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks with seven strikeouts over five innings.

Smith-Shawver tossed 55 of 91 pitches for strikes while inducing 10 whiffs, including seven on his splitter. An Atlanta comeback ultimately prevented the 22-year-old from falling to 0-3, and this was actually his best outing of the season. He'll take a 4.61 ERA, 1.98 WHIP and 17:8 K:BB across 13.2 innings into a favorable matchup with the Twins next weekend.

Flores went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and two additional RBI during Saturday's 8-4 loss to the Yankees.

Flores tied the game at two runs apiece with a 394-foot, two-run home run to right-center field during the second inning. The 33-year-old is currently tied for the league lead in homers this season, hitting six over 14 games. The veteran infielder also lined a two-out, two-run single into right field and is up to 19 RBI on the season, ranking second behind Aaron Judge (20). Flores is slashing .275/.302/.627 in 53 plate appearances so far in 2025.

Adames went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored during Saturday's 8-4 loss to the Yankees.

Adames recorded his second multi-hit effort of the season after a three-game stretch in which he went 0-for-10. The 29-year-old shortstop singled in the sixth inning and came around to score his third run over his last three games. He later followed up with a double down the left-field line during the ninth. Adames is slashing .196/.270/.250 with three doubles, six RBI, a stolen base and a 6:16 BB:K across 63 plate appearances this season.

Nimmo went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Athletics.

Nimmo snapped the shutout in the sixth inning when he took J.T. Ginn deep to right field for a solo homer, the Mets' only run of the game. Nimmo has started the season slashing .208/.259/.472 with four home runs and nine RBI but zero steals across 58 plate appearances.

Peterson (1-1) took the loss Saturday against the Athletics, allowing two runs on seven hits while striking out five across six innings. He did not issue a walk.

Peterson started out strong by retiring eight of the first nine batters he faced, but he ran into trouble in the fourth inning when he gave up four hits and two runs. He was able to recover to get through the next two innings without issue and finished his outing tossing 89 pitches (66 strikes), with 19 first-pitch strikes and eight whiffs, though the 29-year-old southpaw did not receive enough run support from his teammates to avoid the loss. Peterson has had a strong start to the season, registering a 2.70 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 17:8 K:BB across 16.2 innings. He's tentatively slated to face off against the Cardinals at home next week.
