Troy is hitting .400 with more walks (12) than strikeouts (nine), a home run and a stolen base through 50 plate appearances for Double-A Amarillo.

Troy was destined to put up a strong stat line while playing half his games in the very hitter-friendly park in Amarillo, but his control of the zone stands out through his first 10 games at Double-A. He had an injury-riddled first half last year but finished strong with an .822 OPS, four homers and nine steals in his final 33 games at High-A before logging an .864 OPS in the Arizona Fall League.

Siri (tibia) has yet to officially be placed on the 10-day injured list, but Mets manager Carlos Mendoza said Tuesday that the outfielder will put little-to-no weight on his broken left leg for 10 days and is "probably three weeks" away from being ready for baseball activities, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Mendoza didn't offer up a firm timeline for Siri to potentially resume playing in games, but because the 29-year-old is expected to be held out from baseball activity until around early-to-mid May and will need some time after that to ramp up, an early June return may be a best-case scenario. The Mets have yet to deactivate Siri, but that has more to do with roster management as the team navigates some uncertainty with its pitching staff after right-hander Griffin Canning (illness) was scratched from his scheduled start Wednesday against the Twins and is considered day-to-day. The Mets recalled a fresh arm from the minors (Justin Hagenman) to eat innings out of the bullpen Wednesday and optioned reliever Max Kranick to Triple-A Syracuse in a corresponding move, but New York could place Siri on the IL on Thursday to allow Kranick to rejoin the active roster ahead of a four-game series with the Cardinals.

Kranick was unscored upon in his first six relief appearances this season but allowed two runs over 1.2 frames in Tuesday's game versus the Twins. The Mets have not yet placed Jose Siri (leg) on the 10-day injured list, so Kranick could be recalled once that move is officially made.

The Mets recalled Hagenman from Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday.

Per Mike Puma of the New York Post, Hagenman is set to serve as the bulk reliever in Wednesday's game in Minnesota in what will be his major-league debut. The 28-year-old has allowed 11 runs (eight earned) across 10.1 innings this season with Syracuse. The Mets are likely to option Hagenman back to Syracuse following Wednesday's contest.

Brazoban will serve as the Mets' opening pitcher in Wednesday's game against the Twins, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Brazoban will be making his first career start after permitting just one run with a 9:2 K:BB over his first 11.1 innings this season out of the season. He'll likely be tasked with covering no more than three innings before giving way to Justin Hagenman, who will serve as the Mets' bulk reliever Wednesday.

The Cardinals optioned Munoz to Triple-A Memphis on Wednesday.

He had pitched each of the last two days, so the Cardinals are replacing him with a fresh bullpen arm in Matt Svanson, who was called up from Memphis. Munoz yielded three runs with a 4:1 K:BB over 2.2 innings during his brief time with the big club.

The Cardinals recalled Svanson from Triple-A Memphis on Wednesday.

Svanson, 26, allowed one run with a 4:2 K:BB over his first 5.2 innings with Memphis this season. The right-hander is pegged for low-leverage relief and will be making his major-league debut when/if he gets into a game.

Allen is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.

Allen had started each of Atlanta's last four games and appears to have overtaken Orlando Arcia as the team's primary shortstop, though the latter will get the start Wednesday in a day game after a night game. Over 38 plate appearances on the season, Allen is hitting .306 and has stolen four bases in five attempts, though a .407 BABIP has helped prop up his batting average.

Kelenic is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.

Though the Blue Jays are sending a right-hander (Chris Bassitt) to the hill for a day game after a night game, the lefty-hitting Kelenic will head to the bench. Kelenic is slashing just .171/.275/.286 (65 wRC+) over 35 plate appearances against right-handers this season, and his ongoing struggles could cost him his strong-side platoon role once Alex Verdugo is called up from Triple-A Gwinnett.

Alvarez was removed from Tuesday's rehab game with Double-A Binghamton after being hit on his surgically repaired left hand by a pitch, Ezra Lombardi of New York Mets on SI reports.

After homering in his second plate appearance Tuesday, Alvarez was struck by an Eiberson Castellano offering in the top of the sixth inning. Alvarez initially remained in the game but was replaced at catcher in the bottom of the seventh. It's encouraging that Alvarez initially stayed in the game, but he will be examined and the Mets should have an update on his condition Wednesday. If he checks out fine, Alvarez could be ready to make his season debut soon.
