Cavalli (elbow) threw five shutout innings while allowing two hits and one walk with four strikeouts across five innings with Double-A Harrisburg on Thursday, Spencer Nusbaum of The Washington Post reports.

Cavalli has had a long recovery from Tommy John surgery, which included some time dealing with a dead arm last summer, but he has looked good through two rehab outings. He ramped up to 69 pitches Thursday, 43 of which went for strikes. Cavalli will likely remain on the injured list until mid-May but will continue to build up in the minors.

The Rockies returned Mejia to Triple-A Albuquerque on Thursday.

Mejia received his first MLB call-up Thursday, serving as the Rockies' 27th man for the team's doubleheader against the Royals. He made his debut in the second contest, allowing one unearned run on one hit while striking out one.

Senger was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday, Manny Gomez of NJ.com reports.

Senger had a brief stretch of regular playing time behind the plate for the Mets but picked up only five hits across 28 at-bats overall. This move comes with the anticipation that Francisco Alvarez (hand) will return Friday, though that transaction has not yet been made official.

Baty was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday, Manny Gomez of NJ.com reports.

Baty launched his first home run of the season Wednesday but has struggled to a .204 average paired with a 33.3 percent strikeout rate across 57 plate appearances to begin the year. With Jeff McNeil (oblique) back on the field, Baty will try to regain his form with Syracuse.

McNeil (oblique) was activated from the 10-day injured list Thursday, Manny Gomez of NJ.com reports.

McNeil was on track to return from the injured list Friday, but club instead elected to push through the transaction on Thursday's off day. He's expected to serve in a large-side platoon at second base while hitting near the bottom of the Mets' order. McNeil went 11-for-28 across eight games during his rehab assignment.

Frazier is not starting Thursday against the Angels.

Frazier will sit with lefty Tyler Anderson on the mound for the Angels, and he's now been in the lineup for only two of six games against southpaws this season. Jared Triolo will start at second base and hit eighth.

Pham is not in Thursday's lineup against the Angels.

Pham is in the midst of his best stretch of the season, as he's gone 6-for-13 across the last three games. Nevertheless, he'll rest Thursday, with Matt Gorski instead starting in left field while hitting seventh.

Doval earned the save in Thursday's 6-5 win over the Brewers, allowing one hit and one walk in a scoreless ninth inning. He did not record a strikeout.

Doval entered the ninth inning tasked with preserving the Giants' one-run lead. He issued a walk to Caleb Durbin and a double to Christian Yelich, but Doval was able to get Rhys Hoskins to fly out to come away with the save. Doval is up to five saves on the season, three of which have come over his last three outings, and he's tied with Ryan Walker for most saves on the Giants. Doval has a 2.25 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 8:5 K:BB over 12 innings this season.

Chapman went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 6-5 win over the Brewers.

Chapman reduced the Giants' deficit to one run in the fifth inning, when he took Abner Uribe deep to center field for a two-run homer. It was Chapman's fifth home run of the season, three of which have come over his last eight games. Over that span, he has gone 6-for-25 with eight walks, one stolen base, four runs scored and seven RBI.

Lawrence was placed on the 15-day injured list due to right elbow inflammation on Thursday, Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reports.

Lawrence has been a key piece of the Pirates' bullpen, maintaining a 0.79 ERA and 0.97 WHIP across 11.1 innings to begin the season. It's unclear how long he will be sidelined, but Mike Burrows is set to slot in as a replacement relief arm.
