Kerkering (3-1) allowed four runs (one earned) on three hits over one inning against the Phillies on Tuesday. He struck out two and earned a win after being charged with a blown save.

Kerkering gave up an RBI double to James Wood and a three-run shot to Nathaniel Lowe after entering with a 5-2 lead. Fortunately for Kerkering, an error in the frame kept three of those runs from affecting his ERA. He gave up one run through his first seven innings of the season but has since allowed nine runs (six earned) over his last 4.1 frames, spiking his ERA to 5.56. Jose Alvarado allowed two hits and struck out three in a scoreless eighth inning.

Finnegan (0-1) yielded two runs on one hit and a walk in Tuesday's loss to the Phillies. He was charged with a blown save and recorded two outs.

Finnegan was called upon to protect a 6-5 lead but instead blew his second straight save chance. He put the first two runners of the inning on base and eventually let the winning run score on a wild pitch. Finnegan converted his first nine save chances of the year before blowing his last two. His ERA is up to 3.09 with a 13:7 K:BB through 12 appearances.

Gore did not factor into the decision during Tuesday's loss to Philadelphia. He allowed three runs on five hits over six innings while striking out six.

Gore got off to a poor start Tuesday, serving up home runs to Kyle Schwarber and Johan Rojas in the first and fifth innings, respectively. Gore kept the Phillies quiet for the rest of his outing to produce his fifth quality start of the year and third straight. In two matchups against Philadelphia this season, he's given up three runs while registering a stellar 19:0 K:BB through 12 frames. Gore generated 21 whiffs Tuesday, including six each with his fastball and curveball. He owns a 3.51 ERA with a 59:9 K:BB across 41 innings this season. Gore is currently expected to face the Guardians at home next week.

Wheeler did not factor in the decision during Tuesday's win against Washington. He allowed two runs on five hits and a walk over 6.2 innings while striking out seven.

Wheeler worked through five shutout frames before coughing up a solo shot to Luis Garcia. The Nationals put another run on Wheeler's line after he was removed in the seventh inning. He's delivered five quality starts in seven outings this season, including three straight. Wheeler has struck out at least seven batters in six of those starts. He dropped his ERA to 3.48 with a 57:9 K:BB through 44 frames. Wheeler is currently lined up to start in Tampa Bay next week.

Abrams went 4-for-5 with a double, a triple, one RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's loss to the Phillies.

Abrams hit an RBI double in the seventh inning and later scored in the ninth after a single. He also had a triple in the third inning and fell a home run shy of the cycle. Abrams now has five multi-hit games in 17 appearances this season, resulting in a .279/.306/.559 slash line.

Turner went 4-for-4 with an RBI double and two runs scored in Tuesday's win over Washington.

Turner singled and scored a run in the first inning before knocking an RBI double and scoring again in the eighth. It was his second straight game with at least three hits and his fourth multi-hit performance over his last nine appearances. Turner bumped his season slash line up to .290/.367/.364 with six extra-base hits and 15 runs scored.

Puk will not undergo surgery to repair his left elbow flexor strain, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Although Puk won't be going under the knife, he's still expected to miss quite a bit of time. The plan is for him to pause all throwing for the next 2-to-3 weeks, at which point the D-backs will re-evaluate him and determine next steps. Justin Martinez will act as Arizona's primary closer while Puk is out.

Imanaga was removed from his start Tuesday against the Pirates due to leg cramps, Maddie Lee of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Imanaga appeared to wince after throwing a pitch to Andrew McCutchen in the sixth inning, which prompted a visit from the Cubs' training staff. He left the game after pitching five shutout innings, and his status for his next start -- tentatively scheduled for Sunday against Milwaukee -- is uncertain.

The Padres placed McCoy on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a sprained finger on his left hand.

McCoy is 0-for-5 with three strikeouts since being recalled from Triple-A on April 21, and he'll now need to wait at least 10 days before getting another chance to record his first big-league hit of the season. Luis Arraez (concussion) will return from the injured list Tuesday to make up for the loss of McCoy in San Diego's infield.

The Padres designated Gurriel for assignment Tuesday.

Gurriel has started 2025 very poorly, going just 4-for-36 with three RBI and two runs scored over 16 games. He'll now end up as one of the roster casualties needed to make room for the return of both Luis Arraez (concussion) and Jason Heyward (knee) from the injured list.
