Scott is not in the lineup for Thursday's game in Cincinnati.

Scott played both ends of Wednesday's doubleheader and the Reds are sending lefty Andrew Abbott to the bump in Thursday's matinee, so it's a good time for the lefty-hitting Scott to receive some rest. Jose Barrero will start in center field and bat ninth for the Cardinals.

Pham is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Cubs.

Alexander Canario will step in as the Pirates' starting left fielder in place of Pham, who is getting some rest for a day game after a night game. Pham had been included in the lineup in each of the past five games, going 2-for-18 with a double, a walk and two runs.

Kiner-Falefa is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Cubs.

Kiner-Falefa had started each of the last nine games while batting .303 with a stolen base, three runs and two RBI, but he'll get a breather while Pittsburgh wraps up its series with Chicago with a day game after a night game. Jared Triolo will pick up a start at shortstop in place of Kiner-Falefa.

Bart is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Cubs.

Bart will get a breather for the day game after he went 1-for-2 with a double, two walks and a run scored while catching eight innings of the Pirates' 4-3 win Wednesday night. Henry Davis will check in for Bart behind the dish in the series finale.

The Cardinals optioned Graceffo to Triple-A Memphis following Wednesday's doubleheader with the Reds.

St. Louis appointed Graceffo as its 27th man for the twin bill, with the right-hander being added to the roster ahead of the second game of the day. With starter Steven Matz getting lifted after four scoreless innings, Graceffo was called upon on in relief to finish out the contest. The 25-year-old picked up his first career MLB win while covering the final five innings of the Cardinals' 9-1 victory, striking out five and giving up an earned run on two hits and no walks. Though he'll head back to Triple-A, Graceffo's stellar relief outing should make him the next man up if an opening in the big-league rotation emerges.

Cubs manager Craig Counsell said that Imanaga (leg) feels "good" and was slated to have a "normal" in-between starts workout Wednesday, 670TheScore.com reports.

Imanaga had to depart Tuesday's outing in Pittsburgh in the sixth inning due to leg cramps. He will focus on staying hydrated in between starts and the Cubs are hopeful it's just a one-time thing. Imanaga is slated to face the Brewers in Milwaukee on Sunday.

Betts went 2-for-4 with a triple, two runs scored and four RBI in Wednesday's 12-7 win over Miami.

Betts extended the Dodgers' lead to 3-0 in the third inning with a two-run single before driving in two more runs with a triple in the sixth. Betts is starting to heat up at the plate, going 6-for-17 (.353) with eight RBI in his last four games following a 4-for-35 (.114) slump in his previous nine contests. Overall, he's slashing .250/.339/.407 with four homers, 19 RBI, 19 runs scored and two stolen bases across 124 plate appearances this year.

Ramos went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 5-3 loss to the Padres.

Ramos cut the Giants' deficit to 5-2 in the seventh inning with a 419-foot blast off Jeremiah Estrada, his fourth homer this year. The 25-year-old Ramos has gone 6-for-13 (.462) in his last four games, though the home run was his first extra-base hit in 10 contests. Overall, Ramos is slashing .248/.313/.405 through 134 plate appearances with 22 runs scored, 11 RBI and three stolen bases.

Diaz went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Giants.

Diaz extended San Diego's lead to 2-0 in the third inning with a homer off Landen Roupp, his second this season. Following a rough 1-for-20 stretch, Diaz has now recorded back-to-back two-hit games, boosting his slash line to .214/.313/.339 with five RBI and eight runs scored across 65 plate appearances this year.

Hernandez went 3-for-5 with an RBI, a run scored and two stolen bases in Wednesday's 12-7 win over the Marlins.

Hernandez is up to four stolen bases this season, putting him on pace to challenge his career high of 12 set last year. The 32-year-old outfielder also extended his hit streak to nine games -- he's gone 17-for-40 (.425) with four home runs and 15 RBI in that span. Hernandez is now slashing .310/.325/.621 with nine home runs, 32 RBI and 19 runs scored across 121 plate appearances to open the campaign.
