Holmes (2-2) took the loss Friday against the Dodgers after allowing two runs on four hits and two walks in six innings. He struck out nine.

Holmes established a career high with nine punchouts, generating 15 whiffs against a fearsome Dodgers lineup. The right-hander's two walks also tied a season low in his six starts this year. Holmes has a middling 4.24 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 35:19 K:BB over 34 innings, but he's given up just three runs to go with a 22:10 K:BB across 15.2 frames at home this year. His favorable splits at Truist Park will be tested next week at home versus versus the Reds.

Yamamoto (4-2) earned the win Friday against Atlanta after allowing one hit and two walks in six scoreless innings. He struck out six.

Yamamoto was brilliant against a formidable Atlanta lineup, taking a no-hit bid into the sixth inning en route to matching a career best with one hit allowed. The star right-hander induced 17 whiffs, and he's now registered at least five punchouts in six consecutive starts. Yamamoto has also given up one run or zero in six of his seven outings this year, recording a magnificent 0.90 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 49:13 K:BB through his first 40 frames. He'll look to keep the good times rolling next week in Arizona.

Bellozo (0-2) took the loss Friday against the Athletics after allowing five runs on four hits and four walks in 4.2 innings. He struck out one.

It was an uninspiring showing all around by Bellozo, who gave up a season-high five runs and four walks Friday. The 25-year-old right-hander also fanned a season-low one, getting just three whiffs on his 87 pitches. Bellozo owns a 4.97 ERA, 1.66 WHIP and a poor 7:8 K:BB across 12.2 innings (three starts) in 2025, and he won't be a recommended fantasy streamer if he stays in Miami's rotation for his next scheduled turn versus a star-studded Dodgers lineup.

X-rays on Tatis' left forearm came back negative after he was hit by a pitch in Friday's game against the Pirates.

Tatis immediately departed the game after getting plunked, but he managed to escape the incident with only a bruise. He may sit down for a game or two if his forearm continues to bother him, but a trip to the injured list shouldn't be necessary.

Tatis was removed from Friday's game against the Pirates after getting hit on the arm by a pitch, Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Tatis took a 93-mph sinker off his forearm during the third inning and was immediately lifted for a pinch runner. The Padres will presumably take him in for imaging to see if he suffered any structural damage, but he can be considered day-to-day for the time being.

Lopez was removed from Friday's game against the Athletics due to right ankle discomfort, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Lopez left the game in the second inning before making a plate appearance. It's currently unknown if he's dealing with any structural damage, but the Marlins should provide an update once they take a closer look at him.

Bailey isn't in the lineup for Friday's game against the Rockies, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Bailey will grab a seat on the bench Friday after going 0-for-3 with a walk in Thursday's series opener, bringing his batting average down to just .155 on the year. Sam Huff will catch instead for left-hander Robbie Ray.

Berti isn't in the lineup for Friday's game against the Brewers.

Berti will get a chance to catch his breath after going 8-for-17 with an RBI and four runs scored over his last five games. His absence will open up a spot at third base for Nicky Lopez to start and bat ninth.

Collins (elbow) will start in left field and bat seventh against the Cubs on Friday.

Collins made an early exit from Wednesday's contest after getting hit on the elbow by a pitch. After a day off Thursday, he's feeling well enough to return to the starting nine against Ben Brown and the Cubs. The 27-year-old outfielder is slashing .263/.333/.447 across 42 plate appearances this season and has recorded a base hit in each of his last five games.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Friday that Kopech (shoulder) is expected to embark on a rehab assignment next week, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Kopech has been dealing with a right shoulder impingement over the past few weeks after starting the season on the injured list due to right forearm inflammation. He's been ramping up his pitch count in bullpen sessions and is set to start facing batters. Barring any setbacks, Kopech will start his rehab assignment next week, and how he responds after each outing will determine a timeline for his return to the majors.
