Busch went 2-for-2 with two walks, a home run and three RBI in Sunday's 7-3 win over the Reds.

Busch had a big afternoon to lead the Cubs to another victory, and he recorded his first multi-hit effort since May 18. The slugging infielder has been a steady fantasy contributor all season, as he now has eight home runs, 33 RBI and an .852 OPS. The OPS would be a new career best for Busch, who could also surpass his career highs of 21 home runs and 65 RBI, both of which he posted last year.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Sunday that Kopech (shoulder) could be activated from the 60-day injured list during the upcoming week, Sonja Chen of MLB.com reports.

Kopech is expected to pitch Sunday for Triple-A Oklahoma City in what would be the ninth appearance of his rehab assignment. The right-hander entered Sunday's contest with an 18.56 ERA, 3.53 WHIP and 9:10 K:BB in 5.1 innings for the Triple-A club, but he had delivered scoreless appearances in three of his last four outings. Kopech served as a high-leverage reliever during the Dodgers' run to the World Series last fall, but given his rocky performance during his rehab assignment, the right-hander could be deployed in middle relief in his initial appearances upon returning from the IL.

Burnes was removed from Sunday's start against the Nationals due to an apparent injury, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.

The veteran right-hander showcased some decreased velocity during the fifth inning but still retired the first two batters before giving up a single to CJ Abrams and subsequently departing with the training staff. Abrams then came around to score on reliever Jalen Beeks, so Burnes was charged with one earned run across 4.2 innings Sunday. The specifics of the injury are unclear, but the team is likely to update Burnes' status in the near future.

Darvish (elbow) is expected to throw a bullpen session in San Francisco on Tuesday, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

After experiencing tightness following his minor-league rehab start with Double-A San Antonio on May 14, Darvish was shut down for a couple weeks before he resumed playing catch. According to Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune, Darvish stepped back on a mound Saturday and threw about six or seven pitches at less-than-full intensity, and with that brief workout apparently going well, he'll take the next step forward in his progression by throwing a formal bullpen session. The Padres haven't mapped out a plan for Darvish beyond Tuesday, and though he remains without a clear timeline to make his season debut, the team maintains that he won't require an extended ramp-up period. Cassavell suggests that Darvish may need just one or two rehab starts before rejoining the big-league rotation, perhaps at some point in mid-to-late June.

Tucker (finger) had X-rays that came back negative on his jammed right ring finger after Sunday's 7-3 win over the Reds, Bruce Levine of 670TheScore.com reports.

Tucker was removed from Sunday's victory in the top of the fifth inning after suffering a jammed finger earlier in the game. The outfielder appears to have avoided a significant injury, and with the Cubs off Monday, he may not miss any game action as a result. He can be considered day-to-day ahead of Tuesday's series opener with the Nationals.

Doval earned a four-out save in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Marlins, allowing one hit and two walks without recording a strikeout while holding Miami scoreless.

Doval threw just nine strikes on 21 pitches but managed to convert his second save since being named the Giants' closer. The 27-year-old is in the midst of a strong bounce-back campaign, posting a 1.04 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 22:11 K:BB across 26 innings.

Diaz earned the save against the Rockies on Sunday, allowing one hit while striking out three in a scoreless ninth inning.

Diaz gave up a leadoff single before striking out the next three batters to seal the win. The 31-year-old remains perfect in save chances, converting all 13 opportunities while posting a 2.22 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 37:11 K:BB across 24.1 innings.

The Dodgers recalled Davis from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday.

Davis will join the Los Angeles bullpen as a replacement for right-hander Luis Garcia (adductor), who was placed on the 15-day injured list. The 28-year-old righty has made three relief appearances for the Dodgers but has otherwise spent the entire 2025 campaign at Oklahoma City, where he's turned in a 5.75 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 26:11 K:BB across 20.1 innings.

The Dodgers placed Garcia on the 15-day injured list Sunday due to a right adductor strain.

According to Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register, Garcia sustained the injury during the Dodgers' series against the Guardians earlier in the week, which explains why the right-hander went unused in wins Friday and Saturday over the Yankees. Los Angeles recalled right-hander Noah Davis from Triple-A Oklahoma City to replace Garcia in the bullpen.

Conforto is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees.

With southpaw Ryan Yarbrough on the hill for the Yankees, the left-handed-hitting Conforto will give way to Andy Pages in left field for the series finale. Conforto went 1-for-5 with three walks in the first two games of the series and is now slashing just .173/.318/.284 on the season. He could soon be in danger of losing out on regular starts against right-handed pitching, especially with rookie Hyeseong Kim (1.058 OPS in 48 plate appearances) beginning to build a case for earning more playing time.
