Soto went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Rockies.

Soto was hit by a pitch and scored in the fourth inning before providing the Mets' bullpen with some insurance via a solo shot in the eighth. The 26-year-old entered the weekend mired in an 0-for-14 skid but broke out with four hits, including a double and two home runs, across three games against the Rockies. On the season, he's slashing .233/.363/.429 with 10 long balls, 28 RBI, 38 runs scored and seven steals over 259 plate appearances.

Alonso went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Rockies.

Alonso gave the Mets a 3-1 lead with a 407-foot blast in the fourth inning. The first baseman has now hit safely in eight straight games, a stretch that includes five extra-base hits and eight RBI. On the season, he's slashing .288/.384/.543 with 12 homers, 46 RBI and 32 runs scored across 258 plate appearances.

Abrams went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Abrams picked up his first steal since May 15 versus Atlanta in this contest. His lack of running in that time has been a a result of his limited opportunities on the basepaths -- the shortstop is hitting just .175 (10-for-57) with three walks and five hit-by-pitches over his last 14 games, and six of his hits in that span have gone for extra bases. The 24-year-old is now slashing .273/.346/.486 with 10 steals, eight home runs, 19 RBI, 34 runs scored, 11 doubles and two triples through 46 games this season.

Parker (4-5) allowed three runs on three hits and two walks while striking out two over five-plus innings to take the loss versus the Diamondbacks on Sunday.

By his recent standards, this was actually one of Parker's better starts. It didn't go well early on, as he allowed all three runs, including a two-run home run by Eugenio Suarez, in the first inning, but he retired 14 straight batters before exiting after a leadoff walk in the sixth. Parker has allowed at least three runs in seven straight outings, and this was the third time in that span he's completed at least five innings. He's already on shaky ground in Washington's rotation, and he has a 4.71 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 42:28 K:BB through 65 innings over 12 starts. Parker is tentatively lined up for a home start versus the Rangers in his next outing.

Suarez's first-inning homer ended up being the margin of victory for the Diamondbacks. He has hit safely in eight of his last 10 games, going 12-for-38 (.316) with four extra-base hits and six RBI in that span. On the year, the third baseman is up to 16 homers, 44 RBI, 37 runs scored, one stolen base, 11 doubles and a .231/.311/.509 slash line over 59 contests.

Martinez struck out two in a perfect inning to earn the save in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Nationals.

Martinez had been eased back into closing duties since returning from a shoulder injury that cost him most of May. This was his third appearance since coming off the injured list, and he closed the game out after picking up a hold in his last outing Monday versus the Pirates. Martinez is up to four saves, four holds and a blown save over 15 appearances this season. He's also pitched to a 3.46 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 16:7 K:BB across 13 innings. Late-inning duties could continue to be split between Martinez and Shelby Miller in the short term, but the closing job should eventually tilt in Martinez's favor as long as he performs well.

Burnes (elbow) was removed from Sunday's 3-1 win over the Nationals due to right elbow inflammation, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports. He struck out six and allowed one run on four hits and one walk over 4.2 innings before leaving the game.

Burnes called for the team trainer after surrendering a two-out single on a cutter to CJ Abrams in the top of the fifth inning. Manager Torey Lovullo said following the contest that his concern level on the starter's elbow is "more than minimal," according to Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com. Burnes will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the injury. If Burnes ends up landing on the injured list or misses his next start, the Diamondbacks would likely reopen a spot in the rotation for Ryne Nelson, who had been expected to shift to the bullpen with Eduardo Rodriguez (shoulder) due to return from the IL this week.

Sheets (undisclosed) exited Sunday's contest versus the Pirates in the top of the fourth inning after colliding with the outfield wall, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Sheets slammed into the wall while trying to track a flyball from Adam Frazier, which went over the fence for a solo home run. The 29-year-old was removed from the game after remaining down for several moments, being replaced in left field by Brandon Lockridge. More information on his status will likely be provided in the near future.

Perez (elbow) is scheduled to make his eighth rehab start Tuesday with Triple-A Jacksonville, FishOnFirst.com reports.

Perez turned in his best rehab outing yet with Jacksonville this past Wednesday, striking out four and inducing whiffs on seven of his 72 pitches while spinning five shutout innings. He'll look to push his pitch count up to the 75-to-85 range Tuesday, and if all goes well, it could be his final outing in the minors before making his return from the 60-day injured list. Perez has been sticking to a five-day rest schedule between his recent rehab starts, so if that pattern holds, he could make his 2025 Marlins debut June 9 in Pittsburgh.
