Hughes allowed five runs on four hits and two walks while striking out seven over 5.1 innings in a no-decision Tuesday versus the Rays.

Hughes gave up all five runs in the third inning, highlighted by a Liam Hicks grand slam. This was Hughes' worst outing yet, though he was able to avoid a fourth consecutive loss with some help from the Rockies' offense. Hughes has pitched to a 4.25 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 28:9 K:BB through 29.2 innings over six games (five starts) in the majors. The rookie right-hander is projected to make his next start at Arizona.

Albies went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Marlins.

Albies opened the scoring in the second inning, taking Ryan Gusto deep on the first pitch he saw for his 19th home run of the season. The veteran second baseman has now hit safely in six consecutive games. Since the All-Star break, he's batting .243 with five home runs and 12 RBI across 18 games. Through 488 plate appearances this season, Albies owns a .263/.311/.440 slash line.

X-rays on Bogaerts' left foot came back negative following his removal from Tuesday's game against Arizona, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Bogaerts left Tuesday's contest in the seventh inning after fouling a ball off his foot, but he appears to have escaped the incident without suffering any structural damage. He said after the game that he expects to be ready to play Wednesday, but the Padres could still decide to sit him as a precaution. If that ends up being the case, Sung-Mun Song would likely fill in as San Diego's shortstop.

Gonzalez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run Tuesday against the Brewers.

Gonzalez led off the third inning with a home run, his third time going yard since joining the Pirates on July 11. He has taken over as Pittsburgh's primary shortstop since the All-Star break, starting nine of the team's last 11 games. While Gonzalez has flashed some power, he's also hitting just .178 in that 11-game span.

Rodriguez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk Tuesday against the Brewers.

Rodriguez led off the fifth inning with a home run, his sixth of the season and first since the All-Star break. He's managed to hit .296 across seven games in that span, logging two RBI and four runs scored. Despite the decent showing of late, Rodriguez may not have regular playing time because the return of Spencer Horwitz will limit Rodriguez's opportunity to start at first base.

Chourio went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Pirates.

After opening the night with a single, Chourio tied the game by taking Jared Jones deep for a solo homer in the third inning. He added an RBI single in his next trip to the plate to finish with his sixth three-hit game of the season. The long ball snapped a 25-game homer drought, though Chourio has continued to produce overall, reaching base safely in 15 of his last 16 games. Across 79 contests this season, he's slashing .280/.337/.468 with 14 home runs, 20 doubles, 44 RBI, 55 runs scored and 10 stolen bases.

Rushing was diagnosed with a slight UCL tear in his right elbow Tuesday, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

Rushing landed on the injured list Monday with an elbow strain, and MRI results confirmed that the 25-year-old backstop suffered ligament damage. The Dodgers are still hopeful that he won't have to undergo season-ending surgery, but he'll still be shut down from all activity for at least a few weeks while he recovers. If Rushing were to play again this year, he would likely be limited to a hitting-only role. Will Smith (neck) is also set to remain on the injured list for another 3-to-4 weeks, so Ben Rortvedt and Hunter Feduccia will handle catching duties for the Dodgers going forward.

Megill recorded his 19th save Tuesday against the Pirates, retiring the side in order in a perfect ninth inning.

Megill was unsurprisingly called upon with a two-run lead in the ninth and needed just 10 pitches to retire Pittsburgh in order for his 19th save of the season. The right-hander has been dominant of late, allowing just one run across his last 20 appearances (19.1 innings) while collecting 21 strikeouts, 11 saves and one hold during that span. On the season, Megill owns a 2.76 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 50:11 K:BB across 42.1 innings.

Jones (2-3) took the loss Tuesday against the Brewers, allowing three runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out four over four innings.

Jones was tagged for a solo homer by Jackson Chourio in the third inning before Andrew Vaughn led off the fourth with a solo shot of his own as part of a two-run frame. The right-hander matched his season-high pitch count of 83 but was only able to complete four innings. He has now taken a loss in consecutive starts. After missing all of 2025 while recovering from Tommy John surgery, Jones owns a 4.02 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 62:16 K:BB across 56 innings in his comeback campaign. He's slated to face the Mets at home Sunday in his next start.

Henderson (6-1) earned the win Tuesday against the Pirates, allowing two runs on four hits and one walk while striking out eight over six innings.

Henderson surrendered a solo homer to Jacob Gonzalez on the first pitch of the third inning before Endy Rodriguez led off the fifth with another solo shot. Aside from those two mistakes, the right-hander was in control and capped his outing by striking out the side in order on 13 pitches in the sixth. Henderson has now won six of his last seven major-league starts while posting a 2.19 ERA during that stretch. Through 10 total starts, he owns a 2.70 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and an impressive 11.2 K/9 across 50 innings. His next start is scheduled for Monday against the Padres.
