Verdugo is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Brewers.

The 29-year-old is batting .182 (5-for-32) across his past 11 games and is on the bench Tuesday for the second time in Atlanta's past three contests. Both absences have come against right-handed pitchers -- Quinn Priester is starting Tuesday for Milwaukee -- which could signal that Verdugo is heading toward a lesser role. Eli White is starting in left field Tuesday, but he's mired in a 2-for-30 slump himself as neither outfielder is doing much offensively to maintain a regular place in the lineup.

The Dodgers designated Urena for assignment Tuesday.

Urena allowed one run over three innings covering two appearances during his brief time in a Dodgers uniform. He's clearing out to make room on the roster for Matt Sauer, who has been recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City and is expected to start Tuesday's contest in San Diego.

Pham is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Marlins.

Pham started in left field in four of Pittsburgh's first six games of June, but he finds himself on the bench Tuesday for the third straight contest. The veteran outfielder is batting .275 in his past 13 games but is without an extra-base hit since April 27. Adam Frazier is making his second straight start in left field after Alexander Canario started Sunday's contest, as the Pirates continue to use a heavy rotation at the position.

Hicks is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates.

Hicks started the previous four games but will head to the bench Tuesday after going 3-for-14 with a double, two RBI and a run during that stretch. Nick Fortes will step in behind the plate while Agustin Ramirez serves as the designated hitter versus Pittsburgh righty Mitch Keller.

Kelly is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's game in Philadelphia.

Kelly batted seventh Monday -- which is the lowest he's hit since April -- and is out of the lineup altogether Tuesday as he battles through a 2-for-30 slump. Reese McGuire is catching and batting ninth for the Cubs.

Hodge (hip) is scheduled to face Triple-A Iowa hitters in a live batting practice session Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

The Cubs are on the road in Philadelphia, so Hodge will link up with the team's top minor-league affiliate to face hitters. He was given the green light to advance to the next phase of his recovery from a left hip impingement after he completed a 30-pitch bullpen session Saturday. After Tuesday's workout, Hodge could stick around with Iowa to make a rehab appearance or two before returning from the 15-day injured list.

The Brewers recalled Lucas from Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday.

McGee tossed a scoreless inning last month in his lone appearance with the Brewers this season. He will provide manager Pat Murphy with a fresh bullpen arm.

The Brewers optioned Anderson to Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday.

Anderson threw 42 pitches and was tagged for three runs over 1.1 innings in Monday's loss to Atlanta. He's being replaced on the roster and in the bullpen by Easton McGee, who was recalled from Triple-A.

Nola (ankle) will be shut down for at least two weeks after an MRI showed a stress reaction in his right rib cage, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Nola appears to be past the right ankle sprain that initially sent him to the 15-day injured list, but the new injury he's dealing with could sideline him through the All-Star break. Mick Abel should get an extended run in the Phillies' rotation while Nola is out. The club also has top prospect Andrew Painter lurking at Triple-A Lehigh Valley, but Painter is not expected to be a factor with the big club until the second half.

Norby is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Pittsburgh.

It's a routine day off for Norby, who had started at third base in each of the Marlins' last five games. Javier Sanoja will be at the hot corner and bat ninth Tuesday.
