Lopez (knee) struck out four and allowed three hits and one walk over four scoreless innings in a rehab start with Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday.

Lopez made his first rehab appearance since being placed on the 15-day injured list Aug. 2 due to left knee inflammation. The 32-year-old handled a healthy workload in his return to the mound, tossing 35 of his 50 total pitches for strikes. Though it's unclear whether Atlanta intends to clear a spot in the rotation for Lopez upon his return, the club will at least give him the chance to build up as a starter during his rehab assignment. He'll likely make at least one more appearance in the minors prior to being activated.

Gausman (hand) is listed as the Cubs' probable starting pitcher for Monday's game against the Diamondbacks at Chase Field.

Gausman dealt with cramping in his non-pitching hand during his previous appearance in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the White Sox, but he apparently made it through his between-starts bullpen session without issue and will be able to take his next turn through the rotation on five days' rest. Since being acquired from the Blue Jays on Aug. 2, Gausman has gone 1-1 with a 6.19 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 16:4 K:BB in 16 innings through his first three starts with the Cubs.

Mlodzinski allowed three runs on five hits, no walks and a hit-by-pitch while striking out four over three innings of bulk relief in Sunday's 4-0 loss to the Dodgers.

After two innings from opener Lake Bachar, Mlodzinski entered in bulk relief and wasn't overly effective against a well-regarded Dodgers offense. The right-hander has essentially taken over as the Pirates' fifth starter since Mitch Keller (arm) went down with a season-ending injury, but he's struggled to a 12.71 ERA over his past four outings. Overall, Mlodzinski owns a 6-6 record with a 4.17 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 85:36 K:BB across 105.2 innings and 29 appearances (12 starts). The 27-year-old is tentatively lined up to pitch Saturday against the Cardinals, though it remains to be seen if he'll be deployed as a traditional starter or bulk reliever.

Snell (2-1) earned the win Sunday, allowing two hits, issuing three walks and logging a hit-by-pitch over six scoreless innings against the Pirates. He struck out six.

Snell's control wasn't perfect, but he handled the Pirates offense with relative ease, firing off six scoreless frames on 94 pitches (62 strikes). In three starts since returning from an almost three-month stint on the injured list following a procedure to remove loose bodies from his left elbow, the two-time Cy Young Award winner has posted a 1.00 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 21:7 K:BB across 18 innings. Snell will look to stay hot on the bump next time out, tentatively scheduled for Saturday against the Tigers.

Cox went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Red Sox.

Cox connected on a solo homer in the second inning to extend the Giants' lead to 3-0, though the club would ultimately relinquish the advantage. It marked his first RBI since being recalled from Triple-A Sacramento on Aug. 14, with the 25-year-old going 5-for-21 (.238) with two extra-base hits and two runs across seven games since rejoining the big-league club. Overall, Cox is slashing .255/.255/.489 with five extra-base hits (two homers), four RBI, seven runs and four stolen bases in 50 plate appearances this season.

Wilkinson (0-1) took the loss Sunday, allowing four runs on seven hits and no walks over 3.2 innings in a 5-4 loss to the Red Sox. He struck out two.

Wilkinson worked a scoreless first inning but allowed runs in each of the next three frames before being pulled at 66 pitches (47 strikes). The rookie southpaw took the mound on three days' rest, coming off two shutout innings in his debut Wednesday, so his workload was likely to be limited regardless of effectiveness. The Giants' exact plan with Wilkinson remains to be seen, but a looming doubleheader Saturday against the Diamondbacks could provide the southpaw with his next opportunity to start.

Mitchell suffered a right forearm contusion Sunday against Atlanta, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Mitchell was hit by a pitch in the bottom of the fourth inning, and he was unable to take the field in the top of the fifth. After undergoing additional imaging, the result was determined to be a contusion, and he can be considered day-to-day ahead of Monday's day off for Milwaukee.

Ramirez went 3-for-6 with a home run, two additional runs scored and five total RBI in Sunday's 19-2 win over the Mariners.

Ramirez had a huge afternoon as he helped lead the Cubs to the blowout victory. The rookie infielder set a new career best with the five RBI, and he's looked comfortable overall in the majors with a .285 batting average and .767 OPS through 55 games. With Dansby Swanson (oblique) on the injured list, the Cubs have been using Nico Hoerner at shortstop, which has opened up regular time for Ramirez at second base. The 22-year-old is worth a look for however long his role remains elevated.

Mitchell (arm) exited Sunday's contest against Atlanta in the fifth inning after being hit by a pitch, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Mitchell took a 94.4 mph fastball from Tyler Mahle off his right hand/wrist with two outs in the bottom of the fourth inning, and although he was able to finish the frame, Luis Lara replaced him in the outfield to open the top of the fifth. Mitchell developed quite the welt on his arm, and the team decided to pull him from the contest. The 27-year-old will likely undergo further evaluation, and he can be considered day-to-day for the time being.

Crow-Armstrong went 2-for-4 with a walk, a home run, an additional run scored and three total RBI in Sunday's 19-2 win over the Mariners. He also stole a base.

Crow-Armstrong led the offensive attack for the Cubs on a day when they recorded 17 hits and went deep four times. The star outfielder did his part with his 33rd home run of the season in the eighth inning, and he also tallied his 32nd stolen base. Crow-Armstrong has already become the first Chicago player to post consecutive 30-30 campaigns, and he could register his first career 40-40 campaign with a hot finish to the year.
