Senzatela (2-10) picked up the win Tuesday, allowing one unearned run on three hits and three walks over five innings in a 10-6 victory over the Nationals. He failed to strike out a batter.

The veteran righty wasn't fooling anyone -- Senzatela generated only one swinging strike among his 83 pitches -- but Washington struggled to produce any offense while he was on the mound. The win ended an 0-7 run for Senzatela over his prior nine starts in which he'd limped to an 8.64 ERA, 2.09 WHIP and 26:19 K:BB in 41.2 innings, and while the end result was nice, his performance didn't exactly suggest he's turning things around. He lines up to make his next start at home this weekend against the Diamondbacks.

Falter didn't factor into the decision in Tuesday's 7-3 loss to the Tigers, giving up three runs on five hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out four.

Three of the five hits off the southpaw went for extra bases, including homers by Wenceel Perez and Javier Baez. Falter has avoided getting tagged with a loss since April 27, going 4-0 over his last nine trips to the mound while posting a stunning 1.99 ERA and 0.99 WHIP despite a lackluster 28:17 K:BB in 49.2 innings. He'll try to keep that streak going in his next start, which lines up to come at home this weekend against the Rangers.

Donovan went 4-for-5 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's win over the White Sox.

Donovan paced the Cardinals in hits on a night they put up 12 runs. He's having a breakout campaign on offense and currently leads National League second basemen in numerous hitting categories. For the season, he's slashing .323/.388/.451 with four homers, 27 RBI, 38 runs, three steals and a 22:39 BB:K in 287 plate appearances.

Wagaman went 1-for-4 with a walk, a two-run home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Phillies.

The 27-year-old took Jesus Luzardo deep in the second inning, ending a 20-game homerless drought for Wagaman in which he hit just .228 (18-for-79) with four doubles and 10 RBI. He's emerged as the Marlins' starting first baseman mostly by default, but Wagaman doesn't have the offensive upside typically associated with the position -- through 270 plate appearances on the season, he's slashing .245/.289/.369 with five home runs and 27 RBI. Deyvison De Los Santos (quadriceps) is on a rehab assignment and should return to action with Triple-A Jacksonville shortly, and he represents the biggest threat in the organization to Wagaman's starting gig.

Scott went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer and an additional run scored in Tuesday's win over the White Sox.

Scott joined in on the run-scoring parade with a two-run blast in the ninth to make it a 12-2 ballgame. The home run was his third of the year and his first since April 30, though this one came against position player Vinny Capra. Scott now has five RBI and a steal in his last four games and has six hits in his last seven games after beginning the month 0-for-17 at the plate.

Quantrill came away with a no-decision in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Phillies, giving up three runs on four hits over four-plus innings. He struck out two without walking a batter.

The right-hander retired the first nine batters he faced, but things began to fall apart for Quantrill when he served up a solo shot to Trea Turner to lead off the fourth inning. After plunking Otto Kemp with a pitch and giving up a loud double to Brandon Marsh lead off the fifth, Quantrill got the hook after 74 pitches (42 strikes). He had yet to last more than five innings in a start this season, but the 30-year-old has been relatively effective since the beginning of May, allowing three earned runs or fewer in eight straight outings while posting a 3.93 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 32:9 K:BB in 36.2 innings. Quantrill will look for his first win since May 18 in his next start, which is scheduled to come on the road early next week in San Francisco.

Burleson went 3-for-5 with a solo homer and two total RBI in Tuesday's win over the White Sox.

Burleson tallied his sixth multi-hit game and second three-hit effort in the month of June. His big blast came in the seventh inning off lefty Tyler Alexander to extend the lead to 9-2. Burleson is now 7-for-14 this season against left-handed pitching and his three-hit night brought his season average to .305.

Luzardo (6-3) took the loss Tuesday as the Phillies were downed 8-3 by the Marlins, giving up four runs on six hits and four walks over five-plus innings. He struck out four.

The Miami native and former Marlin took a 3-2 lead into the sixth inning, but after walking the first two batters of the frame, Luzardo got the hook and watched Tanner Banks allow both inherited runners to cross the plate. Luzardo racked up 32 called or swinging strikes among his 103 pitches, but he threw only 59 total strikes as he had trouble putting batters away. It's the third time in his last six trips to the mound that he's walked multiple batters while failing to fan more than four, but he reached double-digit Ks in the other three outings, all of which were quality starts. Luzardo will try to regain some consistency in his next turn, which lines up to come at home this weekend against the Mets.

Liberatore (4-6) got the win Tuesday against the White Sox, allowing two runs on five hits and no walks while striking out four in six innings.

Liberatore picked up his first win since May 6 and posted his first quality start since May 24. The control from Liberatore remains impeccable, as he has just five walks over his last 38.1 innings. He also has just a 6.6 K/9 over that span compared to an 8.3 K/9 over his first seven starts of the year. He's still been reliable overall and will look to take down the Reds at home in his next start this weekend.

Friedl went 1-for-5 with a double and two RBI in Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Twins.

The Reds let a 4-1 lead slip away in the sixth inning, but Friedl came to the rescue an inning later. His two-run double re-established Cincinnati's lead and was the game-winning knock. Friedl has driven in eight runs over the last 10 games.
